I mean it hits all the required beats - funny, extremely cringe, pointed satire (even if some of it has already been done to death) with an unexpected heart.

Production started in 2019, so they basically had to create the COVID narrative on the fly, which was pretty well done in how it fit into the larger story. So it's more like Borat 1.5 than a true sequel.

Watched it last night. Fantastic sequel to the first one.
The dance at the debutant ball had me crying.

There were subtitles for 90% of it

I learned yesterday that SBC is speaking Hebrew when he is doing Borat, the Daughter Bulgarian and the prime minister when he is in it Armenian so they were actually nonsensical conversations in entirely different languages.

And some Polish.
