I love this game but matchmaking is broken on ps3 anyone having issues gettin into games on matchmaking

I suggest the problem is at your end.

Check your NAT settings, if you're a type 3 (restricted) you've got far less chance of getting a good match

How do I change Nat type 3 because that's what its set at

On PS3 NAT type 1 = Open, 2 = Moderate, 3 = Restricted.

So type 3 can only connect with a limited amount of people.

Need to open the ports on your router...or put it in the DMZ

Pretty much running the old halo combo of shotty sniper.

Pick most baddies off at range and just switch if the psychos get too close.

Only mix it up if the ammo gets low

Will be purchasing tomorrow. Done everything I possibly can on Gears....I feel so relieved as the game has eaten my life and stopped me from enjoying other games!

what an epic game....seriously.
69 dollars at release for some of the best co-op action available since the snes/n64 days!....to those who havn't bought it i have nfi why not but it will be some of the best spent money on gaming this gen if you happen to pick it up.

i don't usually re-play games but i may play this again as another character i find playing it in co-op that much fun!

If i get the chance to finish before MoH is released i reckon i'll start a new character.

What an incredibly enjoyable game this is.

Hands down the best value for money game this gen. Hours and hours of enjoyment and even the replayed stuff is still enjoyable because the game remains dynamic throughout. The loot, the AI, the environments, the bad-ass ranks/tokens, the new skill tree's, the scalable enemies, the awesome co-op. Everything is just so damn fun!

As caMoGFC said earlier, if you haven't got it by now, go out and buy it, no way you'll regret it!

It's an easter egg in the game that's made to look like Minecraft. Not sure about everything that was in there, as HBK had killed it all before I joined you guys .

Definitely look at getting a mic. Could you hear us last night? I was trying to tell you to get that Assassin Skin that came out of the Pokie machine for a minute or so, while you just stood around it.

If you have the cash, maybe go for the all-in-one Headset, like what Igloo uses the Official Sony Wireless Headsets (basically the best value for money headset): http://www.ozgameshop.com/ps3-accessories/official-sony-wireless-stereo-7-1-headset-ps3

I use Astro A30's which are a fair bit more expensive, caMoGFC uses Astro A40's. Not sure what Knighta21 has? But the Headsets are definitely the way to go. And the sound design is fantastic on Borderlands 2 as well, so it makes the headset experience even more worth it.
