i only have like....one person on my friends list that i've seen playing this game so makes me wish i could play it co-op with you guys (even though there's a shitload of games i could jump in from the multiplayer menu)

it's tempting ant...but it all comes down to the "i already have to many games to play as it is on the ps3" scenario.
and it doesn't look like slowing down.

if i was to ever get a 360, it would be to play with the forum posters over on the dark side

but when tv's drop in price like they're sposed to i might get a new one for the sake of it and hopefully can get a 360 elite pack chucked in like i've seen on some tv models...the tv is the most important thing there though...

though you will have to catch up to the level i'm up to (which shouldn't be a problem if you get the game this w/e as i won't be home)

Awesome game, co-op is great. Played with Mance, then two other guys on my list today (were both level 30+) so I jumped from level 10 to 14 very quickly. The co-op is lag free, and you share money and experience from kills.

Saw this today nearly bit...how big is the game world?

on comparison with fallout 3?

It pretty massive mate, i've clocked up 11 hours, and have just opened up the second area. I'd say there's easily as much here as fallout. Unlike fallout which is just quest after quest without much change in difficulty, this game builds you up to boss fights that are pretty hard core.

Love the comic book style, whenever you meet a new character or boss, there's like a freeze screen with a one liner bio which is usually funny as shit. One nutter was wearing a slippery when wet sign as a loincloth, haha, lots of that stuff.

In terms of guns there are heaps, and you're always waiting to happen accross that new gun cabinet that has a new weapon twice as good as before. I like how your character talks in this one too, unlike the silent character in fallout. When you find a new destroyer of a weapon he'll bust out a "Hoo hoo baby!" or something similar.

I went and bought Uncharted 2 today, but I remembered young Kerbz telling me about this a while ago, and I came bloody close to buying it instead.

Mate you'll love it ay, it's definately the next fallout and you're down with that. The co-op just makes it even better

Apt name. They are massive steroid munching bare chested dudes, with a huge home made axe, that come running at you full tilt out of nowhere screaming "FRESH MEEEEEEAT. YES! FRESH MEEEAT HAHAHAHAHAH".

Oh and they are also on fire

i've been playing for about an hour or so tonight and am close to level 11 (571xp away to be precise) and just killed

this is only my second time playing it but it's freakon sweet.

fwiw i'm enjoying this far more than i did fallout 3 (which was still great but i didn't feel compelled enough to complete it)

Level 17 here, can't remember who I am after in the main story. But he whipped my butt at level 14 so have been doing the side/minor quests to level up and take him on again.

if i was to give advice i'd say get it, but from eb games for the 7 day return policy....so if you don't like it just exchange it for a game you have on pre-order or something...
but remember....it starts off a lil slow but gets awesome

it's pretty sweet but like i said earlier not for everybody...

everybody in this thread who's gotten it seem to love it though which is a good sign



and to ant....yeh if you play those bosses when you're not up to their level, or not even close i should say they will smash you! ahaha

i used up nearly all my ammo before finally dying...(i had a weakish shield then as well)
and i lost to him twice before i thought screw this....leveled up some more then smashed him barely taking a scratch to my upgraded shield
