after our last goal today who ever the umpire was in the middle bouncing the ball bounced it straight to Thompson i mean god that wrecked the atmosphere they went forward and it lost us time

Bull****, he just didn't bounce it all that high (though higher thean the 4 feet quip from Denis) meaning that Thompson who was standing closer to the circle than Nth's ruckman got there first.

I *knew* someone would post a whinge about this, even though it didn't cost Nth the game.

And I don't barrack for either side.

It didn't cost you the game idiot because there were 120 other minutes of play that go to make up the game. Make any mistakes in in that period? No?

Despite the ordinary bounce at the end David King still had an opportunity to kick a goal and was denied by a brilliant tackle. That cost you the game.

I have to agree - bouncing the ball is a joke. If the umpires can't do it correctly they shouldn't do it at all - That's the 2nd game in a row I've been to when the bouncing has been terrible. But it didn't cost you the game - that honour went to Carey declaring himself fit when he could barely make it around Dipper on the boundary to get on the ground, let alone play!
