Thought Trolley man was on bail for driving offences and he'd knocked off a car or something.
What kind of 'minor' driving offences requires a court appearance and bail? I think they might be a bit more than minor.

Speeding, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without a license I think we're the ones. Not major offences. The passport being cancelled was obviously not communicated to VicPol
There was a great article years ago IIRC in the Sunday Times detailing how the Saudis had pumped huge money in to taking over mosques in the UK (and other places) and replaced more moderate preachers with Wahabbists. Blair did nothing as didnt want to rock the boat re arm sales (as have other PMs either side of him) All rather grubby.
The poorest areas of those cities are nearly always the areas with the most recent immigrants.
NB you could argue the reverse, ie they arent rich because of the immigrants, they receive immigrants because they are rich. ie the illegal immigrants from North Africa want to get to northern europe and not stay in the poorer south

These three were found guilty of plotting Christmas attacks in Melbourne 2016. Two of them, in 2015 had tried to go to Syria to fight for Islamic State.
Why did we stop these people? I said at the time passports were being cancelled the better option would be to let them go but make it very clear before they leave the realities over there and that they wouldn't be able to come back. Give them the choice.

I dunno, you'd have to ask the government. They probably feel it's more embarrassing to have Australian's fighting against the world than to stop them here. Plus having them go over there might radicalise the family more? Who knows the exact reason, not my area of expertise (radicalisation)

Most of the higher echelon of isil came from britian and France. These two nation's lead the air war against Libya that allowed isil to win. Hillary provided the arms.
Once Libya was over they moved them to Syria

Hassain Khaliff (who should not to be mistaken for the rapper Wiz Khalifa responsible for "Black and Yellow") was out on bail on a series of driving offences that don't compare in seriousness. People have got to realise that we don't have the gaols to lock up people on "petty offences" (which now is quite elastic in definition) with the reality of many mths before facing court. We have serious criminals serving long terms, courts and judges have their hands tied. Driving offences (without consequence) you'd expect to recieve bail,
The consequence of peoples lives completely breaking down serving mths inside without facing court (loss of a jobs extra) could be quite significant. So what do Victorian Libs do about this but demand harder bail conditions pre- election "come on", without detention centres and shorter times before facing court (impossible the later), no. Demands of courts cannot change these facts.
Are there any cons out there that can enlighten us further?
