That Bowden dosent seem to give a stuff. He reminds me of a few of the blokes at my club ( Hawthorn ). Someone told me he is part of the Tiger leadership group. This cannot be true, surely. Danny has too much faith in that bloke.

Even when Joel does give a stuff, he looks incrdibly like he doesn't. Tonight he really didn't give a stuff!

Dusturbingly, Wayne Campbell also didn't give a stuff this evening. From that very first non-contest in our backline where he needed to make at least some body contact against the adelaide marker, indications were that he was half-arsed.

Ty Zantuck is a plague on the club and should have been traded at the earliest opportunity. We should waste no time offloading him in October.

Bowden was until this year. So was Richo.

As there were so many MIAs last night I'm not going to individualize. Our problems are alot deeper than that although that attempted torp off one step that went out on the full  summed up the total lack of discipline of the Tiges.

I've been a big fan of Campbell over the years and have bristled at the unfair stereotyping of him as a soft player who only gets easy kicks and isn't a leader. However, he seems at pains to prove his knockers right this season, he's become the expert at getting useless possessions and providing no leadership whatsoever.

Classic example was early in the first quarter when Richmond had possession after a mark at centre half-back. Campbell then runs about 15 metres to the player's right on the boundary line and the player duly kicks to him. Why would Campbell want to take a kick when it didn't benefit the side one iota as it slowed momentum - one of Richmond's biggest problems this season.

As for Zantuck, I was rather bemused when I heard a little while back that it was planned as if it was one of the club's keys to success that he would be used as a forward this season. All based on one or two cameos up forward in the past.
