Bowden had a shocker yesterday, no doubt about that! Looks like he was driven mad by Cameron Bruce who is getting a bit of a reputation as a stopper.

What was disapointing about this was not the 2 X 50m penalties he gave away but they way he reacted after coming back on.

What we wanted to see was some focus and resolve in getting the ball. However, the first time it came near him, he tried staging for 3 free kicks in quick succession and succeeded in getting none of them! All he really achieved was a turnover to the Demons.

There is no doubt that he is one of the most targeted of our senior players - he is going to get a tagger every week. He is at the stage now where he should be able to play on, despite the attention, and still succeed; not lose his lolly like he did.

When Bowden pushed over whoever he pushed over to receive a second 50m penalty, I thought it was the best bit of aggression I've seen from him for quite a while. Sure it was undisciplined but heck he stood up and showed some force. Should do it more often around the packs.

What is wrong with him? He plays as if the side depends on him and when his not performing he gets frustrated. He is lucky we won. I rated him no.2 kicker in our team but on his form this season he is far from it. The Mark Waugh of Richmond. Makes it look so easy at times than lets all the good work down with a mongrel punt. I think I've said this before but he must have changed something with his kicking. Leon Cameron is a worry too.

Maybe, as a conspiracy theory. Paul Hudson has been planted at Richmond so his Dad can come down and poison our kicking.

that is the perfect description nut. I've always thought for such a good kick he can sometimes turn it over far to easily.

Who do you rate as our best kick Tivendale/Cameron? I'm referring to accuracy wise.

I thought Joel is human just like you and me not like 1 of Sheedy's robots- all players go through up's & downs - may be he will fire up next week.

ANd I quite enjoyed the Robot Wars the other night! Sheedy's robots looked like they were smashed to little bits by the big-@aresed house robots in the corner!

I hope he doe's to get some confidence back too
