We lost 12 seconds against St KIlda..

We lost to Footscray becuase a dfender faked an injury and gave the kick to a goal kicker.

I say that's just life, what goes around comes around. About time something went our way.

Exactly. I think it was 14 actually. And in that case we were robbed of a chance to win the game by the timekeepers, not because of any clever play by our opponent.

Wasn't there also time lost in the Dogs game? The siren went with Browny going into attack. So AFL timekeepers have cost us possibly 6 premiership points, but neither of those incidents raised a tenth of the fuss as the finish to Saturday's game.

What if someone else had the ball?

Newman - Kicked it 70m and hope for the best.
Thursty - Panicked, played on and got pinged.
McGuanne - Looked around and then just booted it to the wing.
Shultz - Kicked to a 2 on 1 contest and lose pocession.

FAIL!

We cant include Schulz as he took the first kick in to Bowden, he hits targets. ;)

You seriously would have preferred it if Bowden had kicked to a contest, turned it over and we'd lost the game?

That's not courage, it's stupidity.

The fact that it could have backfired

Fact is,if Bowden had have kicked out,he is so unreliable under pressure,he would have turned it over.

He chose to take the safe out only because he's a weak prick and saw a chance of being mistaken for a hero.

Watch the game where he's getting pantsed and outplayed by kids and vets alike.

Watch how he get's beaten to the ball and pushed aside like a fart in the wind.

He then sneaks into the glory pose through a smartars act.

Fu kc that.

It's an experience we could live without.

If he didn't give up two goals earlier in the game he wouldn't have had to do it.

LMAO@sending captain shifty off the bench to play bs footy

We don't all crucify Bowden for whatever he does. Most of us are happy we won the game. A majority of followers of different clubs are agreeing that it is smart play, let alone Richmond supporters.

yeh i know...it's starting to give me the sh its too.:D

How can one be honest and not berate the Bowser ?

Here's how my love affair with Joelene began....

Back when he first joined the RFC,he showed extensions of a prodigious talent, capable of uncanny feets and a Matty KNights ability to appear to have all the time in the world.
Many of us expected him to win a charley one day.
As time passed it came to be that he suffered,I think, a serious shoulder injury - a momentous occasion in his career because he was never the same.

The annoying part is,it seemed he took the easier road from then on.

Offered so much and was definitely capable but became a lazy prick who took many things, both on and OFF the field, upon himself.

The final straw was the squib x2 in the night game v collingwood.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZ - That's it.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Has an unqualified air of arrogance and believes he is Joel Bowden, champion Veteran and as much a part of RFC history as Jack Dyer.

Well guess what - he aint.

I believe in loyalty where deserved - case in point,Matthew Richardson.
Would be easy to negate his efforts at times, although not as opportunistic a venture as the *******ation of Joel Bowden but he is a worthy champion who busts his Gut,on top of which he is a great person.

So next time ur thinking i senselessly bag bowden - **** off.:)

And as smart as what Joel Bowden did on Saturday, he did it because that's what he does well.....he's a conservative footballer. He doesn't want the team to play fast, free flowing football. He wants us to slow the game down to a crawl. With the pace this squad is developing, Joel's influence scares the **** out of me. I don't want this squad to go back to the old chip-it-around failed teams of the years past. I'd rather we ran teams off their feet, not bore them and me to death. Joel believes in the 'more-touches-the-better' philosophy. This squad doesn't always need to do that.

With the pace this squad is developing Joel is obsolete as of now.

The real villian in all this is Laycock. He should be charged by the AFL for bringing the game into disrepute by attempting to impersonate an AFL footballer.

The only thing that saves his skin is that no reasonable person would be likely to confuse him with one.
