Not so silly now is it Ratman & Bluesman. Last week you guys let it be known I had no idea by saying Bowyer should play against the Tiges & Wiggo should have a rest.Well for the record: Wiggins had another blinder with 8 massive possesions while Bowyer picked up 27 touches in a best on ground performance for the ants :cool:

Not saying Bowyer is a better player just confirming my comments last week are not as stupid as it seems. And for the record Davies will be promoted this week along with Bowyer :D

Bowyer certainly couldn't do any worse than the rabble that was Carlton on Saturday.

Juzza how can you dispute this call? Bowyer has definite claims based on the form of these two players, as has Justin Davies.

Why is Wiggins so untouchable on these boards??? He is the new Scott Freeborn.

Freeborn = Wiggins = Dud!!!

So why the excitment when Eddie or O' hAilpin do well in the VFL? Credit where credit's due. Thommo was right, Bowyer in, Wiggins out.

your reasoning is just plain dumb . Eddie betts went back to the VFL and kicked 6 goals ...how did he go saturday after being brought back in ???

how do you know he is untouchable on these boards ..you have had 8 posts ? :rolleyes:
wiggins has done enough to earn his position in the team he may have had a bad game saturday but he wasn't the only one he had about 19 mates
 
What makes it hard is that, IMO, players like Bannister, Sporn, Wiggins, McGrath and Bowyer are probably fighting for the 2-3 spots available in the team. Of these players, IMO, Sporn is the best of the 5. The rest fight for spots as their form dictates.

Anyway, lets just hope they give AB a run this week

So what you are saying is that Eddie is not up to it because of one game :eek: You are a fool! Both our wins this season involved Eddie Betts kicking goals in the last quarter to put us in front. So I rest my case!

I've only had 8 (wait a minute make that 9 soon) posts and even I know that has no correlation to how many I've read. Why the amount of posts a person has has got anything to do with anything bewilders me. My football life didn't start with BF, thank christ, otherwise my football education would've been effected by morons like you.

So if he had 19 mates, I'm assuming you think we only had 2 players that didn't put in a shocker. Last time I checked there were 22 players in a team.
Wiggins played an awesome game against Port, I didn't see the Freo game and he played shockers against Hawthorn and Richmond. His form does not warrant selection over Davies or Bowyer. My years as a Carlton supporter provide me with that in sight not my 8 (nearly 9 now) posts on Big Footy.

Also re your stupid comment on Eddie Betts and his promotion from the VFL, he actually kicked 3 goals against Hawthorn and was one of the main reasons we won that game. You rest your case??? :eek: Don't apply for any jobs in the legal profession any time soon. Ratman 1 - Blues_Man 0.

Wiggo has been amongst out best the part few weeks. He is not flashy but at least on the weekend he didnt turn it over to the extent he has before.

Bowyer doesnt have the pace. Also in Wiggos favour was when moved to Soft Coc Brown on the weekend he quietened him down.

Davies by all reports had 31 touches on the weekend yes. Quality football from him not. Disposal wasnt the best.

Drop Johnson. His disposal was the worst I think I have ever seen from him, but in fairness Kouta looked sloppy. At one stage Campo one a hard ball gave it to kouta in space then had to fight for and win it again after the great man turned it over with a fumble.

Whilst we want to blame people why keep picking on Wiggins? He was one of the very few that attacked with any ferocity on the weekend. We were the biggest bunch of soft ***** I have ever seen.

So I for one will keep supporting his untouchable status whilst hes giving 100%. At least he gives a contest some thing a Silky skilled Houla failed to do on the weekend. Great ball security to give Brown goal of the round.
 
Wiggo was with Brown every step of the way on Saturday. Brown just got some class delivery from a midfield that was allowed too much time. Brown got one of his goals from a blatant push out and another from a soft free. Wiggo was aggressive and never dropped his head. He is busting a gut out there and has had some good games this year. He was not our worst on Saturday by a long shot.

I bag him when he sucks and give him credit when he gives a yelp. He is a changed player IMO.

just because bowyer got a few touches in the reserves does not mean he would have been any better than the rest of the rabble against richmond ..eddie betts was a prime example that reserves form means nothing .
so you have been reading the forum for months and suddenly decided to jump in and post ? well what a surprise you arrive the same week as the other peanut :rolleyes:
like i stated Wiggons played because his form warranted his selection ..and yes I watched the Freo game unlike you and Wiggins was not the worst player out there

Sorry I missed the Freo game, but I had a mates wedding in country NSW and was unable to get any coverage of the game. I couldn't make a judgement on that game, so i thought it only fair to disclose that. Your glowing report of "not the worst out there" makes me think he had a fairly ordinary game.

is this a competition ??? and here i was thinking it was football discussion forum .
like i said Wiggins deserved his spot in the team and no ammount of speculation about how bowyer may or may not have played a better game than him on the weekend will change anything .
and i notice most other BF posters tend to agree with me
