Squiggle tips Demons at 77% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
File him alongside the mystery “floater”.Bravo wasn’t in the team they posted unless I’m blind.... thought he was dismissed
This is spot on, but I'd also suggest that this is the case for every AFL/VFL aligned team.It was a good effort in that we were within a goal half way through the second and did not allow them to blow us away until the last, but even then we got a couple of late goals to make the final score line a bit more respectable.
Even if we only had Reeves and Hartigan playing that would have made an enormous, say a3-4 goal difference. Hartigan could have sat on Daw and shut him down, and Reeves would have absolutely dominated the ruck and given our mods a lot first use, forcing their mids onto the defensive.
Watching that team go around was like watching a old DS game with extensive amnesia regarding the identity of the players, except there was very little talent, footy intelligence, execution, and cohesion on display. The whole set up looked like we were trying to give as many fringe BH listers a game together before they all disperse back to their suburban leagues.
I noticed Killer was in grey watching on so at least he is still around.
If this team wants to have an impact, it is going to be very heavily dependent on the the Hawthorn listers and the more experienced BH senior players who were absent tonight.
