Chief are we able to get “game day” prefix added to the board. I’m sure we had it.

At Punt Rd at half time we lead 5.5 to 2.4.

Pretty remarkable given only Jeka Butler Saunders and Seamus are our listed players (only Jeka has played AFL) compared to Richmond who have about 15.

Jeka thrown into the ruck gradually warmed to the task and was influential in a 4 goal qtr for Box Hil. Jaylon Thorpe thrown to FF has kicked 3, one from an absolute screamer.

Sam Butler a perfect half volley crumb and snap at pace.

Jake Arundell the other goal with a good bit of roving.

Our Box Hill team should be good, as it usually is. Our depth is pretty strong and we have solid seconds level players.

A 27 year old from Williamston VFL team. Was also impressive in intra-club. Very athletic exciting player.

Saunders slotted a nice goal late but we lost by a couple of goals.

Great effort given we had 4 listed players to 15, and no Greene, H.Beasley or Adduci. The AFL player's fitness and skills stood out in the end.

Jame Blanck was good again. Really like the look of Max Hall (a solidly built smallish mid with a good sidestep, neat in traffic). Jake Arundell a livewire.

Butler was probably the liveliest of the HFC players, did some nice things. Jeka had a good 2nd qtr, but didn't look overly interested otherwise. Saunders looked like he was eased into it, hidden away as a small forward - I feel like he should be in the action more up the ground.

I'm not sure what we should be expecting from Seamus Mitchell but for mine he should be showing more than he does. Occasional signs of class but missing for huge chunks of the game, and a touch timid in the clinches.
