People who complain about this shit are sooks, they don't ****ing hurt that much. Seriously if your male and you complain about them you are soft. I have had mine for about 7-8 months now and you can obviously notice the difference. Originally the orthodotist said i'd need them for 12-15 months so i'm hoping i wont have them for too much longer. Anyone had an experience where they've bulllshitted you and you've had em on longer?

And to whoever said it doesnt affect wether or not the opposite sex find you attractive is deadset wrong. I've had many occassions were chicks have started to approach (in a club enviroment) but then back off once they see my braces. Even been told had i not had em i would've been 'in' for sure.

They aren't even that bad. Don't hurt at all. Only thing that pisses me off is the ulcers. They're a bit uncomfortable after getting em tightened, but it's not too bad.

That thing about me being banned from soft drinks went out the door. I just have to have it with a straw though.

I was meant to have them off until late next year but I could get them off within 3 months at the earliest. But probably 6 months.

When you get braces off, sometimes some of the glue stays on your teeth and it can get stained easily.

or if you eat too much sweet crap and dont brush them, youll get white patches around where the brackets are bonded on smack bang in the middle of the teeth. these dont come off.

Yeah braces are overrated.
They don't really hurt, you can eat any shit you like really.
I've had em on for about 16 months now and you barely notice that they are there most of the time.

Funny when you see people with them on for the first time.
They try to hide them by streching their top lip over them, but it just makes them look like they are wearing a mouthgard.

I had a chicken and lettuce roll straight after I got mine on (all the way back in 1996, lolz). Granted tho it took me about an hour to get thru it.

I was lucky, I didn't get braces. Didn't visit a dentist for most of my teens. Paid for my own crowns later on to fix up natures f***ed up attempt to give me a smile. And walked 10 miles to school in the snow. But I don't complain....

Had the four corner teeth out last year, which has (expectedly) spread my teeth out, i am meant to be getting braces sometime late last year/ early next year. For some reason my dentis/authodontist got a mould last year for the braces (when i still had the four teeth)

The right top end, the left top end, the right bottom end, and the left bottom top end. They were shit teeth and wouldn't let my wisdom teeth come through.

Ah yes, now I see.

I myself had to have four teeth removed to make way for my orthodontic braces. Somewhat similar to yourself, I had the second from right top end, the left top end, the right bottom end, and the left bottom top end all extracted.

In the end, it's completely worth it. Two years down the track after having my braces removed, I feel fresh as a dandy.
