I think people are wrong to assume its marijuana. You wouldn't partake in something that stays in your system for 30 days if you're someone that's subject to random and periodical testing.
It's likely a substance that you piss out in 24/48 hours.
Also, potheads don't roam the streets acting like fools at 5am. They're usually in bed by 11 after consuming a family sized pizza.

My guess is coke

Is amazing how many people in AFL fan land have their heads in the sand regarding players and drugs. They're young men with disposable incoming having barely touched grog in 6-9 months. They go hard in the offseason

Brad will be one of 40-60% (at a guess) of the league dabbling in a line or two. He just happened to get caught. It's no big deal as evidenced by the AFL super relaxed rules on it

40% is probably about right.

Probably a big part of off-season overseas trips is being able to get up to all sorts of stuff where no-one knows who you are. The important point is to not get caught and that's the damning thing about this story - how dumb can you be really?

You can take Stengle out of Richmond, but you can’t take the Richmond out of Stengle.

And for b.crouch to get caught up in it. Poor lad.

Yep, a seemingly minor hit/run vehicle damage at 2pm.... being followed 4 days later by his retirement is the interesting twist.
That this led the news ahead of the Adelaide duo says a lot about the media, don’t you think?

Probably because one club (hehe) covered it up and the other got on the front foot.

Most frustrating part is having to listen to the soccer mums and the middle aged white men whinge about special treatment when multiple experts and lawyers have advised that this pathway is the pathway police would take for any possession arrest.
