Vickery is restricted though. Still has trade value (unfortunately)

That looks really messy so I'll try and evaluate it (I'd suspect Crows wuld want Schoey over TOB so I'll leave him out)

Freo give: Lachie Neale, 2017 1st first round pick (3-10)
Hawks give: Brad Hill, Angus Litherland, Ryan Schoenmakers, 2017 first round pick (11-18)
Crows give: Brad Crouch, Josh Jenkins

Freo get: Brad Hill, Angus Litherland, Josh Jenkins
Hawks get: Brad Crouch, Freo 2017 first round pick (3-10)
Crows get: Ryan Schoenmakers, Hawks 2017 first round pick (11-18)

There is only one winner there and it's neither Crows nor Dockers.

Does Lachie Neale go to outer space or Crows.

Murdoch/GHS? Both SA boys that can't crack our best 22 but neither can Crouch.

He's injury prone, so right up our ally and I think he's better upside then GHS has.

I think you're serious too?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

You're going to go blind if you keep that up.....

No point in even mentioning the PSD.
I wouldn't use it unless the Adelaide list manager was as stubborn as the poster I was responding to. In that situation, Crouch gets traded for pick 19 for sure.
Dunno why two have thought that statement said ghs had more upside. Perhaps its the 'think' part theyre commenting on.
People read what they want to read sometimes.

Do these Crows fans know how to read?

I responded because the original poster feels free to comment on the trade value of Crouch but only "thinks" he may have more upside than GHS! Has the poster seen Crouch play?

A fit and firing Brad Crouch will be elite. GHS - not so much!

Well every out of contract player we have every year is apparently signing with another team.. so far 1 per year pretty much has.. hopefully this year they both stay.

I don't think guys with elite potential are playing sanfl and are struggling to break into the team. Crouch had elite potential, unfortunately he is another victim of injuries like many before him. You won't have too much luck in asking for more than a mid-late 1st rounder for him.

Mate it got SFA to do with thinking anything, GHS shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath let alone the same sentence as Brad Crouch.

Most players on the back of a long term injury also require some form and fitness to show if they are capable of still reaching that potential. End of the season will have a better evidence whether he can or not.

So essentially we will let other clubs roll up to our door step, turn their pockets inside out and say "we no money, but we like Brad pwees". Well in that case, sure. Take him for your late first rounder, early second as suggested. While you're all at it, why not add O'Meara in too

[Edit: By the way, for reference, injury prone (but potentially elite) players like Ryan Burton, Jake Lever, Troy Menzel fetch mid to late first rounders as draftees, not after 3 years and 30 games in the system where they've shown some very good output.]

It's up to you to resign him, if you don't you have to take whatever the best price offered is. It's simple. If you have him under contract then you don't have to take the best price offered.

Which Brad wants to go to. Can't trade a player if they don't want to leave.

It would be neglect if they didn't. Ditto with Tom Mitchell. There is only so long that Mitchell, Hodge, Lewis and Burgoyne can play for before there is a gaping hole in your midfield and enormous headspace in your salary cap.
That's the way footy works.

Now that brad os back in the 22 it would of been silly on his part to have signed before this with injuries depleting his value.

But I do think he does have more upside then GHS. What's wrong with that?

I don't know why me thinking Crouch has more upside then GHS is somehow a knock on him? It's not like I was disputing it or anything.

Worth more than O'Meara.

On 2 fronts, far less serious injury issues.

Comes from a great culture.

Also, fwiw, he's as good a player as O'Meara
