Add crouch of Mitchell to the mix and we'll be fine. It's Gibson that needs replacing.

Crows didn't rate Burton that highly. They passed on him twice and picked a player no one had even heard of at 16 IIRC.
Think some clubs were really put off by the injury. Kid does have some serious talent.

yeah that was a serious wtf moment of the draft, just shows the recruiters back themselves and know talent when they see it.

Yeah, agree the injury scared of most clubs, it's a big risk. Prior to it though Crows were really into to him as many thought he was top 3.
So far he looks to be paying off though, long way to go but if he get over the injury he will be a massive steal.

I'm happy for the crow fans out there, they have lost their fair share of gun players over the last 5 or so years.
I would have loved to have Crouch at my club, Crow fans would probably feel bloody awesome keeping this young gun.

Hope he and the Crow fans enjoy their time together, watching him become a star will be excellent for them.

I agree that he is worth far more than a top 20 pick. That dude has no clue. Probably worth anywhere in the 5 - 15 range. And personally, he'd probably be our third best mid behind Heppell and Z Merrett.

Reckon he'd be better than Merrett right now if he didn't have injuries so I'm confident he'll surpass him soon. Hard to argue re Heppell as he has the runs on the board but he's certainly got the ability to be better IMO.
