Does a straight swap for Lukosius sound fair?....Or does one club need to add something to the equation?....Possibly Greenwood I'm thinking.
Nah Lukosius has a lot more trade value than Crouch.

Depends what would Luko be worth as a trade pick
He went number 2. Other then that agree with what you're saying, but all comes down to how confident GC are they can hold him for that long which we have clue on.Went number 1 last year & would still rank that this year I'd reckon.....A tall key forward you could build a side round for the next decade.
Mind you, Crouch was a Top 2 pre-listing pick, but he's got say 6 good years left as a 26 year old, at the start of the 2020 season.
If a club is offering a player a 5 year deal at $1m pa, they are going to have to offer up more than pick 10-15 when the player is still contracted for another 2 years. Luko would come into consideration. And the same would apply to Elliot but dont think you would be getting a top 5 pick or 800k for him, So seeing as you did the research and appear to be the expert why has it taken 7 years to get these 'surgery; that you mention done ?
There is no way a club will be handing out a top 5 pick for Crouch and a pick between 10-15 is enough if he decides he is gone

That won’t happen. GC won’t trade him this year for anything less than what GWS did with boyd. The sweetener would be the crows first pick.
There may lay the problemWent number 1 last year & would still rank that this year I'd reckon.....A tall key forward you could build a side round for the next decade.

Adelaide would clearly expect a top 5 pick for crouch because of the RFA
GC may not
Easy solution he stays and leaves as a RFA

Yes true we have one in fog will either take their games to the next levelObviously you'd need to weigh that up against the value you place on landing Lucosius.
Not too many gun key forwards in the offing you can build a team around, I'd of thought.
whereas class midfielders come by the half dozen-full, every draft year.
Nar, he didn't and I don't think he would this year. Guys like Walsh and Rowell are almost certainties.Went number 1 last year & would still rank that this year I'd reckon.....A tall key forward you could build a side round for the next decade.

Crows holding onto crouch for another year could actually fall into GC hands
* GC get Crouch as a free agent and Crows get pick 7&8 as compo
* Crows want Luko , GC demand both picks and pickup Crouch as a free agent
Haha we're happy for Betts, Jacobs, Jenkins and Greenwood to leave you pelican. Also Keath is a good player but not in our 22 and will get us a decent pick going forward. What is it about this that u people dont understand? Are u a simpleton?Well so far all they have been sprouting has turned out to be true with the players they mentioned already gone public in Betts , Jenkins, Greenwood , Jacobs and so much smoke around other that you just cannot ignore. The Vic media have been going with other things like the camp and coaching issue's which crows supporters here rubbished. maybe You guys should take a bit more notice also

I'm probably out of my depth on this point, not knowing intimate details but isn't this how every Melbourne club pays players.Gold Coast are a big chance I'd say..
They are desperate for mature players who can immediately impact. With salary cap exemptions and direct access to The AFL's bank account, they would probably offer him more than any other side... maybe even 1.2 mil + marketing deals and ambassador roles, etc, etc, etc... He could get up to 1.5 mil a year with all that other stuff worked into it, but outside the salary cap, so only 1 to 1.2 mil declared!
More than just crows and port would take him at 1. It was closer to a 50/50 decider on who clubs would of took. Suns should just get crouch next year if still keen and then trade luko if that's what crows think he is worth.Just depends who has the #1 pick.
If Crows or Port had it last year, they take Lukosius.
He has more worth to the Crows or Port than any 18yo interstate midfielder.
It looks good to me except I think Martin + 15 is more than enough for 9.If Suns are now chasing both Crouch brothers...
Ah Chee to Lions
33 & 43 to Suns.
Martin, 15 & 43 to Blues
9 to Suns.
BCrouch, MCrouch & Greenwood to Suns
GC 2020 Rd1 (1 to 5?) + 9 + 33 to Crows.
GC
1, (2), 55. (Lose 2020 Rd1).
Crows
4, 9, 22, 27, 33 + GC 2020 Rd1 (1 to 5?).
(+ Betts, Keath, Jenkins picks).
Crows bundle for more Rd1 picks & take up to 4 x Rd1 kids + a top 1-5 kid next year with Suns Rd1 - or use the pick for Lukosius if he wants home.
Fair’ish for everyone?
Lol I'm sure it does look good to you. Doesn't do anything for me. If you want to do that for bcrouch and greenwood then maybe, but matt is worth much more then brad. If you want to trade your pick one (or two if you get it) this year and luko then I'm sure the crows would entertain it but that's not nearly enough to get both brothersIt looks good to me except I think Martin + 15 is more than enough for 9.
Also I don't think it's a good idea to get both brothers. One is more than enough for Suns. They look similar type to me. Suns also have number of young midfielders who needs to play and should step up in next 1-2 seasons plus drafting Rowell and possibly Anderson this year and Davies next year.
I'd give him a 4 year deal with a trigger for a 5th..don't want to lose him at allHonest question for Crows fans. Why Crows actually don't give Brad a 5 year contract? Some of you here think he's one of the best Crows players if not the best, possibly winning B&F, is over his injuries after surgery. I would expect it's no brainer for the club to keep him during rebuild. Surely money is not the issue as some older players are leaving. On one hand Crows keep Walker who I would expect is on a good coin on the other hand the club seems opened the door for one of their best player to possibly leave.
Keath is in our best 22... but yes, we are happy for these players to leave to refresh.Haha we're happy for Betts, Jacobs, Jenkins and Greenwood to leave you pelican. Jesus just stop.
You look like a fool.
Neither Matt or Brad would get traded for pick 1 or 2 in any draft no matter how shallow it is. Do you actually understand how much currency those top draft picks have (rightly or wrongly) before they’ve been used..
Neale just went for pick 5 who is far better than either of the 2. For starters, if a player is open and willing to move and looking to leave, they won’t get full value anyway..and neither Crouch is worth a top 2 pick in any draft even under the most favourable of situations for Adelaide.
I don't get why you're still lingering on this post. All you seem to do is tell people they're wrong and to go do their research, yet every theory you've had has been shot down hard and shows you don't know what you're talking about. Both matt and brad are contracted players, both will be restricted when their contracts end, matt is an AA and B&F and Brad will win our B&F this year. Go back to Port Adelaide posts where your biased opinions may actually be wanted.Jesus just stop.
