What REALLY sets Betts apart is the MANNER in which he gets his goals. ABSOLUTE MADNESS... you'd think he has radar built in.

Dick can look a little pedestrian by contrast and is no where near as explosive as Betts.

This is Betts' best year to date, and Dick is outdoing him.

The upside for Dick is in added strength, he's as thin as a rake.

He's also much better in the midfield and is a better kick from distance.

Strength is hardly a prerequisite for a forward pocket. Betts has a ton of burst speed and stealth. Getting bigger won't help Dick greatly.

Betts' mad skills kill in the midfield. Betts does his forward work within 50m, doesn't need to be a long kick. Though is is still very capable from about the 50m mark.

Just my point. It's much harder to maintain that high level Betts has shown over a longer period. You don't need to be a statistical genius to work that out.

It wont help him in burst speed and agility. This is the forward pocket's bread and butter.

It's not his job to play in the mid for extended periods, but when he does, his skills shine through.
