Brad Dick was today elevated to the senior list before the deadline. I am still certain that it is only in case we get an injury to someone like Hilly but i am rapt to see the little fella get his life back on track and playing good uninterrupted footy in the WAFL. Can't wait for him to play a game, will be special for all those who have followed his terrible run with injuries.
I'm sorry to say Go_Brad_Dick but from all reports he is very happy he chose to come home. Not that he didn't love your club and that you guys didn't support him but being around family during hard times is a blessing in disguise. Also i think the Eagles have very high hopes for him. Time will tell with all things though i suppose.

Thought I'd give this a bump; a few days ago our list manager said on the radio that Brad will be elevated off the rookie list to the senior list full time for next season! Hopefully he can get some games and show some more of the talent he did with you guys.
Great news Thorne, hope he shines for you. If anyone deserves some time in the sunshine its Brad, well done guys!

I hope so too. Held up pretty well in the second half of the year playing WAFL and played some good footy, very opportunistic. In 11 games he kicked 27.21 and looked very lively. He'll have some stiff (haha) competition for a small forward spot next year with Le Cras, Hill, Hams, Nicoski and Newman but the promotion is a good sign.
His positive attitude and charisma shines out in the club videos. Seems a very likable type, reflected by the positive reception he gets here.

If his body holds together I'd imagine he gets a spot in front of all except the Frenchman, IMHO. He has that innate ability you can't teach. Reads the play & gets to a good position.I hope so too. The thing he has on his side is that he's the only real crumber out of the list I mentioned.
Le Cras and Hill are very much leading/marking forwards; Hams might be the closest but he's really a WAFL midfielder playing a decent crumbing role up forward. Newman isn't ready, either; Nicoski is a lock if fit but who knows if he'll ever be right to play again really.
He'd add something different up there! He'll get chances in the preseason to show his skills I'd imagine.

Yeah, that's clumsily what i meant, still behind the Frenchman in full flight but ahead of ? in the crumbing department.
Perfect foil for your big talls. The two rucks, kennedy & Darling, lickin' his lips I'd imagine.
As Thorne said to date he has done everything the club has asked of him. Was very shaky the first few games even though he was kicking goals but towards the latter part of the season you could see him getting confidence back in his body and abilities. If he gets through pre-season unscathed i expect to see the little fella wearing the blue and gold a fair bit next year. Really anticipating seeing him get a game.

I am looking forward to the best geniunely enthusiastic goal celebration of all time when he kicks his first goal for WCE. He will top his own PB which is no small acievement. I think his first goal for us is the all time record. Broke the vertical leap and smile benchmarks but nearly popped a shoulder with the fist pump.
