WIN News are reporting Brad Dutton has announced his retirement because of his knee problems.

Bit of a shock... Can anyone shed any light on this. Massive blow for Clarence.

Gone: Webberley, Archer and now Dutton.

Sad news for the TSL too.

I know how hard he worked to come back from the last series of operations on his knee , at least he has the sense not to continue and finish up unable to walk. well done Dutts.

Heard that also about Brad.

M Geappen, Savage, S Whitelaw, T Standen pickups.

Well done on a good caree Dutts.

Trent 'speedy' Standen will be one of the pick up's of the year. The young man has been tearing apart the regional league for a number of years now. Watch out for this Kid!!!

Had a great year last year. Just shows what a fantastic player he is. Who knows how good he could have been with good knees.
Good player to watch.

quite possibly could have played at highest level.knowing how bad his knees really were, difficult to understand how he did some of the things he managed to do. a massive loss to local footy. would be a handy aquisition to any club as a forward coach.

Top bloke he is! One of the best debuts i have ever seen, devils practice match and kicked 7 or 8 on Matty Javanovic who was no bum! Came out in his first devils match and kicked "correct me if i'm wrong" 6 against North Ballarat in the Anzac Day match, played 5 minutes the next week, then got dropped, very bizarre. Still looks like a hobit though!

Vice-like hands has Cyril. One of the best players overhead in Tassie footy from the past decade. Was great at Launceston too.

He gave Jovanavic an absolute bath that day and it was no mean feet. The Russian was B&f and VFL rep that year. Kicked 5 on debut and was awesome. For some unknown reason the coach wasn't a big fan. Well done Cyril, well done.

Have you been smoking dirty a** crack mate???? Could have played at the highest level! No chance way too slow and ugly, good local level player at best! Or is this you Dutts?

Good to see "Tasmania's Best Newspaper" has finally caught up with the news on Brad Dutton's retirement. Only a good month or so after it was reported on television.
