Not really Chris Judd was always going to be a elite midfielder ,Brad Ebert isn't really in that class as a midfielder but is a really good marking half forward as he proved last year.Hey everybody wants an elite midfielder and don't knock Port for having a go at trying to make him into one.
Sounds like a bit like Nat Fyfe with some Chris Judd thrown in going off your descriptions.

Will be the best player in the comp by the end of the year

Yeah i would agree with that,(not the best player in the comp bit ;))I think with Brad Ebert he's going to be one of those players that can play a number of position well.I think he can reach the elite level as that marking half forward ,going through the middle.

He is a harder worker than anyone at port and he also reads the play as good as anyone. What's going to stop him from reaching his absolute potential at his true home team?
Yes without a doubt he is a hard worker and does read the play well, but I think he's a confidence player and don't know how supportive the adelaide media/public will be if his disposal efficency doesn't improve given he been built up so much over there.

You dont need to be an elite user of the ball to be an elite midfielder. Dane Swan, Sam Mitchell, Matthew Boyd and Scott Thompson are all examples of elite midfielders with average skills.

More important is the ability to find the ball, beat the opposition to it and move the it forward at all costs. A solid handball/kick player who can find a ton of the footy through hard work and reading of the play is extremely important in this day and age.

We have other players who are class users of the ball who it will be Brads job to get the ball too.

While it's great that you (and I assume other Eagles supporters) consider Brad a hybrid of Chris Judd and Nat Fyfe, let's not get too excited just yet. At this stage I'd be happy with him just winning the brownlow.

all this talk of ball disposal and elite status and disposal efficiency % is just making me ill. i'd rather see him in a port jumper for the opening 5 games and then think about it.. not check out his stats from a nab cup game and question whether he'll ever reach that level. to pigeonhole a player in the AFL is dangerous, i've found, especially when he's still very young for what he's done so far.

The thing with Brad is that he is a quality young man who will contribute to our club with his leadership qualities, and he is a determined hard worker. He will be the best he can be and if that's elite then all the better. He won't die wondering, and that's all we can ask. :)

i can definitely, see him being like a scott Thompson player for us

To me its pretty simple, Brad is better than a lot of players on our list.
That means he improves the list and the more we improve the more games we win!

This. I was very sad to see him go but wish him all the best with your club.
