I'd redraft Ebert with 28 if it was an option (which it isn't).
28 is a good deal for Port I reckon. If it was a perfect market his price would be slightly higher. It's not though.
28 is fair enough given the circumstances. 33 is slightly unders.

Kicking is adequate but not brilliant, and will only continue to improve as his endurance does. Same would be said for his pace. Also has a great attitude, discipline, willingness to constantly put his body on the line for his team and leadership ability.
Realistically on the open market would be worth a pick in the high teens/maybe early 20's.

I'm being dead honest here, every time I watch a game with Motlop involved my mates and I keep an eye out for how much effort he puts in. It's great for a laugh.

Exactly, we always trade fair and historically most clubs do with us because of it, even Collingwood. Port will no doubt do the same. No matter what a bunch of clueless Port supporters on Bigfooty think.
We will probably be getting at least pick 28, with either a player or an exchange of later round picks (either 2nd or 3rd). To claim anything else at this stage is just stupid. If there is no trade by Friday and no solid offer on the table to work with, then the PSD may start being an option. Until then, it is merely a threat being thrown out by Port supporters on the internets.

WCE receive Ports pick 28 Freos pick 38. Lose Ebert and pick 45.
Port receive Griffin and Ebert. Lose picks 28, 33 and Surjan or Motlop or some player.
Fremantle receive Ports pick 33, WCE pick 45 and player. Lose Griffin, pick 38.
I dont know, thats just top of head stuff.

Port supporters don't think he's worth more than 33, Eagles supporters think he's worth a pick around 20. Chances are we're both biased and he's actually worth about 28. That's probably the deal that will be done.

Ebert and Butler for pick 6. Get this done. From a WC point of view we have a plethora of medium defenders/ half backs. Butts is no slouch by any means and surely would tempt Port. Does have issues with regularly being on the park though..

Lyon has said Griffin is a required player, so unless he wants out of the club (not unreasonable, considering Clarke and Sandilands have been played ahead of him in the ruck), I can't see that deal happening.
I just read a quote where your club's list manager said that Griffin is a required player and won't be traded.

If he gets delisted, it'd be for other reasons but not because of talent.
But yes, Motlop is clearly a better player than Brad.
there has been reports in multiple articles, that Griffin has nominates port. The trade will happen after the Clark trade

Also, it's seems almost certain we'll be getting more than pick 28, which is basic justice.

The 2011 version of Motlop isn't attractive to any club. Including us, and probably including Port.
