Wow editing others posts

Don't make posts with misleading statements and it won't happen.

You even managed to get the grammar wrong

There should be a comma after Wow and an apostrophe in other's. :thumbsu:

I'd redraft Ebert with 28 if it was an option (which it isn't).

28 is a good deal for Port I reckon. If it was a perfect market his price would be slightly higher. It's not though.

28 is fair enough given the circumstances. 33 is slightly unders.

Reasonable poster is reasonable.

gopower, your opinion of Ebert is ridiculously off the mark.

He's best 22 at West Coast, and I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be at Port.

A 6'2 player with inside midfield ability but also great versatility, very good overhead mark, clean hands at ground level and great aerobic capacity/ability to cover the ground. Kicking is adequate but not brilliant, and will only continue to improve as his endurance does. Same would be said for his pace. Also has a great attitude, discipline, willingness to constantly put his body on the line for his team and leadership ability.

Realistically on the open market would be worth a pick in the high teens/maybe early 20's.

West Coast would end up with the better player and a bonus draft pick, and you'd still be disappointed?

I'm being dead honest here, every time I watch a game with Motlop involved my mates and I keep an eye out for how much effort he puts in. It's great for a laugh.

I remember seeing him jog for like 30m before hunching over short of breath.

He has all the skills in the world but a good player? Not anymore.

Ask Pelchan what happens when you burn too many bridges.

One day the trade will be on the other foot.

Exactly, we always trade fair and historically most clubs do with us because of it, even Collingwood. Port will no doubt do the same. No matter what a bunch of clueless Port supporters on Bigfooty think.

We will probably be getting at least pick 28, with either a player or an exchange of later round picks (either 2nd or 3rd). To claim anything else at this stage is just stupid. If there is no trade by Friday and no solid offer on the table to work with, then the PSD may start being an option. Until then, it is merely a threat being thrown out by Port supporters on the internets.

We wouldn't even use pick 51, so yer, **** it. They can have him for nothing and remember that we won't forget this when the shoe is on the other foot.

Yep fair enough.

Perhaps a 3 way deal might be involved as Griffin might go to Port.

WCE receive Ports pick 28 Freos pick 38. Lose Ebert and pick 45.

Port receive Griffin and Ebert. Lose picks 28, 33 and Surjan or Motlop or some player.

Fremantle receive Ports pick 33, WCE pick 45 and player. Lose Griffin, pick 38.

I dont know, thats just top of head stuff.

That's not too bad.

Either of 28 and 33 would be reasonable. Anything more (unless it's 33 plus steak knives like Motlop) wouldn't be.

Port supporters don't think he's worth more than 33, Eagles supporters think he's worth a pick around 20. Chances are we're both biased and he's actually worth about 28. That's probably the deal that will be done.

Lol. Yeah nah.

I like how you think that 28 is unreasonable, but 28 plus upgrading pick 45 seven spots is reasonable.

Ebert and Butler for pick 6. Get this done. From a WC point of view we have a plethora of medium defenders/ half backs. Butts is no slouch by any means and surely would tempt Port. Does have issues with regularly being on the park though..

Nonetheless 2 players who'll slot into ports best 18, or more realistically there top 10 easily.

Lyon has said Griffin is a required player, so unless he wants out of the club (not unreasonable, considering Clarke and Sandilands have been played ahead of him in the ruck), I can't see that deal happening.

I just read a quote where your club's list manager said that Griffin is a required player and won't be traded.

A guy you'll delist if he's not traded this week is the better player?

You're either trolling or seriously deluding yourself.

there has been reports in multiple articles, that Griffin has nominates port. The trade will happen after the Clark trade

So do we, and even if we didn't we wouldn't trade pick 6 for one, so let's just end that little idea.

Ebert + 45 for
Newton + 28/33?

Nope. Newton was pick 35 in a strong draft, and probably would've been higher if not for injury concerns. He hasn't gotten on the park to show anything to change his value either way, and definitely not to pick 45 in a weak draft.

If he gets delisted, it'd be for other reasons but not because of talent.

But yes, Motlop is clearly a better player than Brad.

If you'd used the past tense I may have been more likely to agree with you.

The 2011 version of Motlop isn't attractive to any club. Including us, and probably including Port.
