If by 'nothing' you mean 'fair value for a solid player with significant flaws who's not in his team's best 22', then yeah.

So why is 28 off the table then? Not much difference between 28 and 33.
So port lose all compensation for brogan and Chad, the also lose pick 28 and only get ebert, yeah righto, what's the benefit to us to involve gws? All the trouble of getting compensation for broges and cornes and we give it to u, it just won't happen. By the way port have come out and said 6 and 28 are off the table looks like we are going to the psd with this one folks.
in a weak draft, theres basically no difference. both are long shots to find a half decent player. Not much difference between 28 and 33.
no player on your list played more games for their club than ebert did this year. Only 2 played the same amount. You're essentially offering an early third round pick for a 21 year old player who played 22 games for a top 4 side this year and you think thats fair. All this in the weakest draft i've been involved in. You are a ****ing moron.

Sorry for not knowing who you are, but I can only assume you are an employee of the Eagles if you are actually involved in this draft??
And people said your team would never be able to erase 2007 from their memories. Seems they were wrong.Summary of this post. Ebert is less injury prone than anyone on your list and managed to sneak a whole lot of games as the sub/a fringe player in one of the worst top 4 sides in living memory (but wasn't considered good enough for the side once your injury list had shrunk), therefore you should trade a first rounder for him. *cardable abuse*

For a start Brown hardly got a game all year. Ebert was chosen over Masten for the majority of the season. Embley and Nicoski will not be there for much longer than next year IMO.Question for Eagles supporters:
B: S. Butler, D. Glass, A. Selwood
HB: B. Waters, E. Mackenzie, S. Hurn
C: M. Rosa, S. Selwood, A. Embley
HF: J. Darling, Q. Lynch, L. Shuey
F: M. LeCras, J. Kennedy, M. Nicoski
R: D. Cox, M. Priddis, D. Kerr
Int: N. Naitanui, M. Brown, A. Gaff
Sub: C. Masten
Where does Ebert fit into this 22? The only ones I can see that are even arguably are Brown or Masten, and even then players like Koby Stevens, Patrick McGinnity, Will Schofield or Ash Smith could easily be considered next in line over Ebert.
I hate this weak draft excuse. Every club is going to be involved in this "weak draft".
Is Ebert worth 33 if it was a strong draft?
one of the worst top 4 sides in living memory
I do contract work for the afl actually and am involved with all sorts of companies for psych testing, profiling and people management.
If you're looking for a case study, Port Adelaide would be a good starting point.
