no player on your list played more games for their club than ebert did this year. Only 2 played the same amount. You're essentially offering an early third round pick for a 21 year old player who played 22 games for a top 4 side this year and you think thats fair. All this in the weakest draft i've been involved in. You are a ****ing moron.

You get Ebert for pick 28 in a weak draft, that's paying unders for him.
You told Brogan and Cornes to retire, getting anything for them at this stage would be daylight robbery.
Get GWS to throw in a SANFL player you're keen on if it makes you feel better.

Nah port said second round pick is off table. Pick 28 is a pp. Meaning we will part with 28 but not 28 and 33.
in a weak draft, theres basically no difference. both are long shots to find a half decent player.
ebert for either is a massive steal.
unfortunately it seems like there is just no other feasible trade scenarios

Summary of this post. Ebert is less injury prone than anyone on your list and managed to sneak a whole lot of games as the sub/a fringe player in one of the worst top 4 sides in living memory (but wasn't considered good enough for the side once your injury list had shrunk), therefore you should trade a first rounder for him. *cardable abuse*

Neither Selwood or Nicoski will be in the 22 for a whole lot longer, Masten's up and down.

For a start Brown hardly got a game all year. Ebert was chosen over Masten for the majority of the season. Embley and Nicoski will not be there for much longer than next year IMO.
Schofield played every game except one if I remember correctly and Smith played all year until an injury late, Ebert was still in the team, he is not competing with backmen.
If you're looking for a case study, Port Adelaide would be a good starting point.
