What a sensational year he's having. Really stepped up. Not getting the attention for his efforts like Bruce, TJ, McLean, Junior etc but he's been getting the job done each week. Go the Green!!

And to think I'm trying to sell him!
His game when he was made captain would be only beaten by his effort in that Carlton final.

I was the same at the end of last year. No way I'd swap Green for Aker now.

Oh and that Carlton game, glorious.

I still would to get one of them gun key forwards in the draft but it aint personal it's just that he has value without being in the Bruce TJ class.

green has been fantastic this year. i too was one who thought of him as possible trade bait for another quality player but i dont know that i would want him to leave now. his game on the weekend was brilliant. kicked two perfect kicks to neitz in a row in the space of a minute.

but if we traded green away who would bruce kick it to and get it from? we all know they have this psychic link between them that enables them to know where each other is during the game. how else are they able to find each other so many times!

Just putting it out there... But does anyone else think that Green's kicking at Goal has dropped off in the last 2 season's. His great around the ground, but just sometimes kicking at goals i think his letting himself down with the accurate kick he has...

Yeah I noticed that too. I think they mentioned it on channel 10 during the Brissie game. Maybe it might have something to do with him playing in the backhalf of the ground and setting up more than being on the recieving end like he used to be in the earlier years. It's been a while since he's get a bag or so, I remember he played awesome at full forward in a losing side against the Hawks last season. Used to be an absolute dead eye but he hasn't dropped off too badly. Is it just me or does Brucey have a really wierd kicking action, especially at goal?

Bruce drops the ball really early and doesn't really guide it with his hands, though he is a very good field kick. Goalkicking is a bit up and down though.
Green's kicking will come back eventually. You don't just lose skills like that. Made those two goals for Neitz against Brissy as well.
