Just thought I would see where people think the following players should spend the most time during the 08 season.

Roaming across the half back line would be great, i was torn between there and forward however i think that the backline is more of a concern than our forward line.

Godd skills, not bad decision making and after watching the game against the crows last year looked good back there.

Playing Green accross the true half back would be ideal but opposition coaches are awake to his skills and potential to damage sides with them. So unfortunately he is dragged back to the goal square most times. I would like to see him line up on the wing his skills could hurt sides with his ability to kick accurately over 50-55 m. We need him hitting targets inside 60 m like johno use to.

I'm warming to the idea of half back as well.

He has improved his defensive side of his game, so running with an opponent won't be too much of a problem. Plus, we need someone classy to give us drive off the half back line.

Interesting player. Always had potential up forward, but never the size. Moved into the midfield and has good skills, but he isn't a natural midfielder.

Couldn't agree with you more!

Back back to Sandringham He's a Dud
That's a pretty brainless response. At least try and give us something.

Along with Aaron Davey, I think Green should be used primarily on the wing and rotating into the forwardline. He gives us some skill through the middle which we lack though he probably isn't as creative as he could be, which is where we will particularly miss Johnno. He really needs to stand up and prove his leadership skills he believes he has.

You're an idiot.

It all depends on mthe match day. In a perfect world, I see him as the perfect player to fill that 3rd man up position in our backline, like Bizzel and in more recent times, Rivers used to do. We have seen how dangerous he can be when left alone, but also we've seen his lack of defensive awareness exposed against quality opponants (vs North, Shannon Grant).

Always nice to know that we have a option to move him forward if needed.

I would liketo see him on a true half back flank but the thing is teams are awake to this and drag him back to the goal square.
