HAWTHORN midfielder Brad Hill has been charged with assault following an investigation into an alleged altercation during the pre-season.

The midfielder, who was charged on Tuesday, notified the Hawks at the time and has not been penalised separately by the club.

The alleged incident occurred on January 24.

Innocent until proven guilty is a fair system, .................... but if found guilty, will the club impose a sanction ?.

Make no mistake i dont like the fact he has been charged but until there is more detail available as to what happened it isnt right to jump on your high horse and start bringing other unrelated incidents into the mix. It is simplistic lazy and wrong.
