Agree that brad is soft,i dont mind if we get him cheap but to gave up draft pick is a big no. Freo never do well in trade table , at least draft pick is hit and misses.

Seeing the Barlow interview on the news the other night Barlow is gawn. He wants to stay, no doubt but I reckon hes been told that he's moving on if we can get a good deal.

There's a reason why Barlow was in tears when he got injured.

Barlow (or the pick we'd get) for McCarthy and Mayne (or the pick we'd get) for Hill. Not sure it would happen but they are two realistic deals imo.

Saw the Clarkson interview and it's very much 'business as usual'.I do agree they are a smooth operation but in this instance it's simple pragmatism.He acknowledged the realities of the situation and flagged that while they were empathic it was still a hard arsed game.
Would prefer we leave it until his contract finishes but stranger things have happened.

A better bet than Lewis Jetta ever could have been for us. Contracted so that may open it up for a suitable trade. We need to do the same as the Hawks and be pragmatic and not say no until we see what options are put up.

I wouldn't mind Brad Hill at Freo. Would do wonders for our midfield speed, and also, having him there would definitely bring Stephen's morale up.

Personally, I would trade Mayne, Suban, and our 2nd rounder for him. Pick 3 should never be traded unless we got someone on the level of say, Lance Franklin or Patrick Dangerfield.

Brad Hill would be great, and he is elite kicking skills, but I don't want to part with Barlow and a pick for Hill. Hawks wouldn't need Barlow anyways, as they have plenty of those types, with better foot skills. Barlow is heart and soul, I'd rather dispense with Daniel Pearce.
