A lawyer like you is what we need as you have all the experience and attributes to do a good job so you have my Vote. You dont have to be a recruiter as that responsibility would be yours but there is a whole recruiting Dept to do that for you.

Carlton have poached a lot from GWS. Looking at who they have taken it would be more like Ethan Hughes, Shane Kersten and Cam Sutcliffe. Maybe Sheridan at a stretch.

The Lloyds were one thing that I really appreciated with Freo. Was hoping one day we'd complete the set and get Matty in as a forwards coach - but that is never to be End of an era

It does worry me the lack of depth in our football department - which to me is a Bond/Rosich/Alcock level problem to resolve. Some of the board members of Freo I don't think add much from a football network perspective of old boys to help get good talent in. Hopefully we don't lose some of our recruiting network as a result of losing Lloyd. I'd expect there to be some churn and change there too

Don't know how to feel about this. We've had a large exodus over the last few years and it's not good for stability.
