He is all in the media right now talking about Carlton . Cant read the article nor do i want to. If someone listens or reads, please summarise. Love how all our old employees are being interviewed regularly. Russell and now Lloyd.

I mean Carlton are the only ones who change employees afterall. And there is no dirt at the moment , so lets get some on Carlton as it sells.

Doesn’t have a bad word to say, kudos to him for that.

The article by Lloyd was interesting and far too positive and that was probably Brads biggest weakness the inability to see issues that were staring him in the face, he just wanted to be one of the boys and afraid of making any hard or decisive decisions.

The AFLW Richmond program - oh the humanity. 🤣
Did read the article on the changes made to our AFLW team in 2022/23 and it seems Brad Lloyd has some meaningful input into Matthew Buck getting the Head Coach role so maybe I'm being harsh on BLloyd????

Still a broken clock is right twice a day so maybe every now and then mankind stumbles into a miraculous discovery despite our best efforts!!!!!!!

I reckon that’s the issue he had. At his dad’s old club and got a bit starstruck and wanted to be one of the boys.

Brad Lloyd apparently was the one who encouraged Mathew Buck to apply for the role of AFLW Senior Coach, after initially roping him in to help with skills coaching after our own AFLW review.

But in that uncomfortable interim, where former coach [PLAYERCARD]Daniel Harford[/PLAYERCARD] had been moved on and players were crying out for someone to guide optional skill sessions during the off-season, then-general manager of football Brad Lloyd asked Buck to spend some time with the AFLW players.

It was a ploy to get Buck invested in the W program. When Lloyd first encouraged him to apply for the role, Buck was resistant, but the time spent with players turned that around.

So seems he did make some good calls.
