Langford is a good player .A little unfair to call McGrath, Langford, McKay and Stringer garbage.
Stringer plays for GWS.
McKay and McGrath grossly over paid for what they are.

Nah even if we finish bottom 4, which is quite possible, it would take something drastic for him to be sacked.if they finish bottom 4 next year he gets sacked
And I could see that happening
He”ll be cleaning up hardwicks mess for a while .

I agree. Essendon did look better last year, and I think there's some understanding of the fact that they might take a short-term loss this year in the form of Stringer, and to a lesser degree, Hind, it's for a longer term gain.Nah even if we finish bottom 4, which is quite possible, it would take something drastic for him to be sacked.
Depends on whether the Sheedy-Dodoro ticket is successful with their board takeover 2025 mid-year…The Bombers need to improve drastically next year for Scott to be safe IMHO. It’ll be his third year at the Bombers. He barely shifted the needle this year, winning an extra 1/2 game and improving 4 percentage points, but still well under 100%, and 11th on the ladder both years.
Above or below your team?Gets through 2025 by the skin of his teeth. Gone half way through 2026.
Ive got them finishing 14th next year.
Dons have zero cap space to worry about. We barely hit it.Dodoro however has stuffed you in salary cap as well - Duursma, Goldstein, McKay, Gresham. It'll take sometime to undo those 4. You've managed to clear Stringer off the books and starting to focus on first rounders now which is a good start. It'll take at least 2-3 years to rotate the stragglers off the list and free up some cap.
Above or below your team?
today’s performance was a coach killer for BSRutten got sacked for less
Look like they are going backwardsCant see them doing too much for a while tbh
They had 6 teenagers, with 3 players having played less than 5 games in the team tonight.today’s performance was a coach killer for BS

Durrham is a big out, as is McKay.
I'm not giving them excuses but their ladder position probably belies where they actually belong, which is bottom 4.
They're miles off it but I think the club already knows this, hence giving Scott the extra year to back him in.
He's not great but it was telling they had no tall back to combat Cameron and Neale. If McKay is a big out the list is ****ed.

Our #1 KP defender today was Laverde who at the start of the year was 3rd in the line in the VFLx
Our #2 KP defender today was Blakiston who at the start of the year was a Ruck in the WAFL.
We have been absolutely ****ed on with injuries and we are continuing the turn the list over. Scott and the clubs leadership are aligned on the long term vision about doing it the right way. His position isn’t up for debate from a club perspective but by all means, debate the strategy, injuries etc.
Lets see what Hird is doing in a few more weeks.
Won’t be happening and the lack of action in this thread is very telling as most punters are aware of what essendons plan is (whether you agree with it or not is certainly up for discussion)
