Just thought I would let the roo fans know how the 2 ex kangas players are going playing for the mighty tigers in the sanfl.

Brad Stephens unfortunately broke his ankle on Saturday and will miss the rest of the season. He is a passionate player and unlike most AFL recruits he is very much for playing for the jumper and your team mates, as he demonstrated in the 3/4 time huddle on Saturday. He is a positive influence around the place, Great guy !

Adam Hay hasnt really shown what he promises. Needs to lift and we need him to lift to improve the tigers performances.

Thanks for the report Easty, I always had a soft spot for those 2, especially 'Braddles' - get well soon little guy!

Easty - I know it's old news, but can you give me a run down of how Lindsay Smith played when he used to play for the tigers? Did they play him in forward/ruck ????? Etc.

Thanks. ;)

Easty,
Would appreciate a result on the State of Origin representative game over in the city of Churches today...

I'm hoping our pretty boy Teaguey did well.

35eye ,

I put one on the official forum yesterday.

First time I had seen Teague and Harding play.

Harding only got a run in the 1st and last quarters and therefore did not pick up too many touches.

Teague played a creditable game off half back. Looked good at times and very hard at the ball.

Bummer about the result.....

VFL players that caught the eye were

(VC) Matthew Brewer Box Hill (BOG for the Vics in my opinion).

Michael Frost Werribee (Kicked 4 or 5 goal and took some impressive grabs.)

Scott Faulkner (Werribee)

Unfortunately the footy record was printed well before the match and there were about 4 changes to the team on the day. Without recalling names it's a bit hard to nominate other good playes (name wise) but No 11 for the Vics also payed well.

I must have been pi$$ed.

Frost only kicked two goals.I must have credit goals from Templeton or someone to Frost .I could have sworn.....
but then again it isn't the first time SA beer has done strange things to my vision.
