I was just thinking the same thing; Pfeiffer doesn't have forever, in fact time is starting to run out, if it hasn't already. Imo he isn't 100% safe from delisting, but in any event 2008 would be his last chance I reckon. Hasn't really produced much at SANFL level to this stage.

What would you have liked him to produce at SANFL level? He's only played about 20 matches and he would've been in the best in at least half of those. Pretty hard to look good in a deplorable team where he has to play in every position because we have so many holes to plug.

Well I would like him to be showing he is a class above SANFL. He is now the same age as Vince was when we drafted him, and we all know how scathing you have been of him, not to mention Richard Douglas. Why should Pfeiffer get special treatment? I mean we know he plays for Norwood but seriously, why should he evade criticism?

Evade criticism? Go back and look at some of my reviews this year; he didn’t escape criticism if he had a poor game.

I know talent when I see it, Pfeiffer is a classy player.

Sure. 2 votes, for his sensational performance against the Bays. Was robbed of votes against South, but at least Bryce got 2. And not to mention his performance against the Eagles where he was the lone Norwood player to even show up, should've polled.

I would take Symes, he is very good and dominated the SANFL towards the end of the season.. he has been far better so far Drummond.. I'm just wondering when Pfeiffer will start proving himself to be the gun you think he is.

I think hes shown in the SANFL that he can play as a midfielder and do exceptionally well. Doesnt mean he will do the same at AFL level but it means he has the ability to go there.

Im in two minds. Half of me thinks he has a bright future and could be a mainstay for numerous years. THe other half of me thinks his lack of pace and close checking ability means he'll be another 'tweener.

Id prefer to keep him unless we land a player out of it. pick 28 might be alright for him but I dont think Port need an overload of draft picks this year.

Apparently meeting with your club in the next 48 hours. I'm not happy about it coz he's a relative, and I think he has a bright future ahead of him, but if the Power decide to trade Brad to you guys, what would you be willing to give up for Brad?

I rate him on a par with Mattner so his second round pick would satisfy me. He wasn't really wanted by Power so now he has a chance to play regularly. Also depends if Schammer is in the mix. We need at least one 3rd round pick for my mystery KPP in the draft who will play forward.

On trade pick 28 for him. He's a good player, knows how to get the ball but disposal and speed are a bit shoddy. Can he play as an inside midfielder? I reckon he's a tad too slow to be an outside player + his skills aren't exactly great. Can find the ball though.

I must admit I've always been a Symes fan - I'd be delighted to have him at the AFC as he offers versatility and has a bit of height about him.

2nd rounder - they all seem to go for that.

On a serious note, with me being related to Brad, I would probably believe he's worth more than he really is, so me personally I would be asking for pick 10 from you, but I would rather trade him to Melbourne in a package deal with Damon White and see if we could con them into giving us their first rounder so we can take Brad Ebert

im undecided on symes. originally i wanted him, but now im leaning towards just utilising all our draft picks, and hoping that we get some youngsters who can cement a spot straight away.

I think if Symes goes to the Crows it will be something along the lines of Symes to Crows, White and Hudson to the Bulldogs, WB's first rounder to Port give or take a low draft pick in there somewhere to balance the books.

Nah trade a late 2nd rounder for Symes, he will excel in a crows guernesy. Is a good replacement for mattner but can actually hit a target by foot.
