Bradley and Bolton

They have to be dropped at the end of the year!!!!!!! They have no speed and no talent. Why were they in our 22 today. Houli and Dempsey should have played instead. Maybe even Gumby, to help in the ruck!!!!

Bolton wasn't our worst. Tried hard and took a great mark in front of goal but the umpires took it off him for no reason.

Bradley is a worry but I'm more concerned about Dyson.

N.B. Both Bolton and Bradley did have a week and half off.. so they were both fresh.

Everytime they toughed it it resulted in something bad. Even when it wasn't their fault we still stuffed t every time. I call it curse of the Bolton

no it most certainly isn't - that man should be relegated to bendigo for the rest of his contract to show the kids coming through how hard to train and that's about it.

bradley was terrible, but is still young and has time to turn it around, bolton will never get any better - and that's really not saying much considering the dizzy heights he's reached in his career...

If you want us to go backwards, yes.

What benefit can playing a player clearly not in our future plans be to a developing side? What possible benefit?

He should be given perhaps one more game as a final send off, at best.

So many kids with genuine talent are going to struggle to get senior experience in this current Essendon climate, yet we waste spots on this waste of a space?

Remember, we are not there yet, we are still developing.

Bolton was quite serviceable today and gven michaels shithouse start to the year and Fletchers inevitable retirement combined with Bradleys poor excuse for football and I think Bolts is a required player. If Fletcher retires at years end, Michael gets shafted for having 100 goals booted on him and Bradley gets his marching orders Bolton will need to hold down a key defensive role unless Lucas goes back or mcPhee and Lovett-murray sacrifice their run to play as out of position talls!

I don't agree with anyone that says that Bolton is alright!!!! This is AFL we are talking about. Their are people like Judd, Goodes, Kerr ect, playing this. Bolton isn't even half as good as those players. He had his chance today and failed. Should be dropped. His got no excuses. He has played over 100 games and has done nothing!!!!!! Sheedy must drop Bolton, so we can pick up someone that can play at AFL level. I rest my case

If Winderlich,NLM ,Dempsey and Welsh are fit to play. If JJ ,Hislop or Campo had enough match fitness then both may not have been in the side.
Circumstances leading into the game put us in a bit of a corner as far a selection goes. We pretty much had to select one of them. The next game we wont have that problem.

McKinnon isnt ready and wont be elevated from the rookie list. Laycock didnt do much today but being a young ruckman he needs some time and games in a row.

I haven't seen anyone mentioning Jay Nash - what is the story with him? I thought he was good last year, providing some good bounce off half-back in the vein of NLM.

Jay Nash --> Creativity and line-breaking that is better than Bolton.
Jay Nash --> Delivery that is better than Bradley.
