can't agree with you more. imagine all the confidence the boys in the midfield would gain if their hard work was actually rewarded. What does age have to do with anything?
Would Geelong knock back free offers of Brown and Fevola as forwards because Ablett, Bartel and Sellwood are a young midfield? Ridiculous logic.
A young midfield would actually gain confidence quicker if it's hard work was rewarded in the forward line instead of seeing the ball shoot back over their heads every 2 out of 3 forward entries.
Your logic is flawed.

Let's be reallistic - even if fit, Tarrant will at best play 12-15 games in 2010 with limited game time. Hale at FF again? I doubt it could ever work.
Like a Brad out of hellMerged.
Like Meatloaf said, two out of three Bradshaw threads are bad.
Why? If Tarrant is fit (and we have no other real option) why would he not play every game?
For me, the issue is not whether he is good enough to have a crack when fit. The issue is whether or not he will ever go a season without another injury.
He will be 21 next season and is well-built. If he can't give a good enough contest to get picked every week (or close to) next season then he may be a worse blunder than even aria could have envisaged.
Because he has played less than a dozen VFL senior games in his life.
I rate Braddy highly. Would love to see him at North Melbourne, however can't see him wanting to come. Will go to a Carlton, Essendon or Sydney I think.
Well technically we are if you consider Harris or Power established.Hopefully the link to Scott helps. If we got him in the PSD, or a late pick in the ND then why not? Those picks are often speculative, and it's not like we are giving up an established player for him.

...........and it's not as if he demanded an AFL match when he did.
Edwards is better at playing the third banana, Smith is a backup for Petrie, Wundke probably isn't going to cut it, and O'Keefe is a mile off.
Bradshaw for 2 seasons would be perfect. We could rotate all the others as third forwards as form permitted in order to keep the pressure on for spots.
Exactly why we should do this deal and get Bradshaw. Seriously, 2+ years of man mountain at FF, taking the focus of the best oppo KPB and allowing our other options to shine, and others to develop and learn how the bloody hell he built himself up to be so big!
I don't see a problem, as long as he doesn't cost us an early pick.
The Australian suggests he is going to Sydney and list North as one of the clubs not interested.
Who haven't they said was going to Sydney this year?
