Marchbank as a good swingman - good call.
Gibbs is gone next year - but he wont be going to Adelaidse.
We will finish in the bottom 8 somewhere - and add significantly to our lose by less than 2 goals tally of 2016.


My Nostradamus calls

1. Cuningham and C.Curnow will have breakout years - C.Curnow will show more earlier on and in a media interview after we smash Collingwood say that he 'really wants to play midfield next to Cripps because they both love the rough stuff.
2. Pickett will play AFL before the bye, get 8 touches, kick two goals one goal assist and make 4 tackles in his debut game.
3. Rumours/Arguments of Fyfe to Carlton will be constantly on the front page of teh forum
4. Rowe will be tried as CHF before the bye
5. Schmedts will be the trade of the year for the first 5 rounds...
6. Casboult thinks his AFL career is over at the bye says "**** it" to himself and " I don't care" I'll just kick it " and kicks an average 3.3 goals a game for the remainder of the year..
7. SOS trades Levi and Gibbs to GWS as part of Shiels deal to Carlton along with Fyfe.
8. Jones and Thomas are given a goodbye BBQ and Malthouse is invited to be the guest cook.

:) Dont make this "like" out to mean i'm a negative prick who hates the club, my membership is paid and i cant wait for next season. I loved it this year seeing the young kids coming through and i expect the same again in 2017. Hopefully SOS nails this draft of midfielders and we see Marchbank, Pickett, Byrne, sumner get on the field together in the 2nd half. I cant see us going past many teams next year, talk to me in 12 months, i think it will be a different story.

Would be nice not to have to search multiple pages to trace back and quote my Gibbs prediction should it come true.

Can we all please wait for the outcome of that one before throwing anymore predictions up. Thanks everyone.
 
I'm with you FBI. Bolton does not strike me as a bloke who'll accept anything other than more progress in 2017, wins and/or otherwise. I'm particularly enamoured with the way he can extract full value out of some very limited players. Some extra forward half/transitional polish in the second half of the season and we could easily have had 10 or 11 wins.

Whilst I wouldn't be shocked if we finished bottom 4, I'd be very disappointed. Who cares if teams around us improve, let's just be better than them ffs.
