Not Carlton related but The Sydney Swans will win the premiership in 2016, a refreshed and well rested Buddy will absolutely be out to make amends for his late season issues, they will get injured guns like Luke Parker back, The Milky Bar kid will emerge as the game's next Fyfe/Dangerfield type superstar and then you throw in Callum Mills.
Michael Talia should thrive up there as well

Collingwood won't make the eight again (bottom 6 finish) and it will be an ugly bust up when Buckley is sacked.

Melbourne will be the big improvers, will win about 8-10 games.

Brett Ratten will replace Loopy Leppa as Brisbane coach at the end of 2016
Can actually see all of these things possibly playing out. Good calls, whether they happen or not.

There was a thread with exactly this type of premise made maybe 2 weeks ago? Are you trying to give Chief bandwidth related aneurysms? :p

Indeed there was.

Was waiting for a point of difference but they really are essentially achieving the same things. Sorry 1981, it looks like your intention was to have a list management competition but it has strayed into the same as the other thread.

Every now and again I find myself hoping for the best for the club, just so you can see one more successful year.

By the end of their careers, Gibbs will be widely considered the better player over Murphy.

That's a huge call of the 8 or so seasons together Gibbs has only be better in 2014.

Here's some of mine
-Richmond to miss the finals
-Cunningham to be better for us than yarran for Richmond over their careers
-jaksch break out year as defender
-SOSOS to show signs that we've hidden him away and be much more than a pick in the 50s

It's gotta be a big call or its just a safe prediction. It probably won't happen, but thought I'd put something out there that hasn't been said and would be astounding if it eventuated.

As long as your not like those posters who make outlandish statements like banning themselves for a period of time and then showing back up before that time has elapsed....;)

Yeah you are right, I hate that!! :D

Had these down years ago but I guess some things just take time.....and then some more time.

Good Friday Games - Hasn't happened yet but it's obvious.
Night Grand Final - Same as above and once we have one, we'll feel silly for not doing it earlier.
16 players on the ground and 6 - 8 interchange. Have been strong on this for many years. Just opens the ground up for more excitement. Obvious.
Recruitment age to jump to 19, although we may do it in half measures as we do.....It will start at 18.5 and get to 19 after a couple of years.

Televising will have a Heads up Display as in video games. Ability to tap into live stats and different camera views, including a full ground shot.
This alone will change the way we view games as we'll be in charge of how we want to view the game and the access to vital information for those that love live betting......that's the downside.....betting will go nuts. Fantasy football will go through the roof.

The AFL will jump the competition instead of following........O.K. that one won't happen.

Andrew Walker to achieve something in 2016 that has never been done in the history of the Carlton Football Club in round 9 v North Melbourne
