Yeah he's had patches but the last couple of years have been frustrating. Hasn't developed.

I do think he suffers from our side having half a dozen of the same type of mid. So do all our fans too really

Art Vandelay_ is pretty consistent on the topic.

I think he played well in a few games here and there, looked like he was going to start adding more offensive work to his game. Just stalled though and there are too many like him.

I think a fresh start and another team could get a bit out of him

He's not a terrible player - he just doesn't fit with our current setup. Our midfield is already too defensive and slow, so assuming Atkins/Bruhn/Clark are in the 23, Parfitt's just surplus to requirements.

It's a bit of a pity because he seems to try hard and had a solid enough start to the season. I thought there were a few others who could have been dropped before him if it was purely performance and effort based.

Would probably actually go pretty well at a team that has lots of outside run and flair, but needs a bit of defensive grunt and hardness.

His big issue for a while has been Atkins + him are competing for the exact same spot in which only 1 player can really play (otherwise you just too slow). Id be picking Atkins 100% of the time too.

Parfitt is a niche player who is a role player. If that role isnt available he wont play

Agree with this from what I have seen this year.

Thought he had a solid start to the year. Needs to pick us the kicking efficiency but would be ideal for us if we don’t land some other big fish.

Work hard, good defensively minded mid - but has never developed the offensive side of his game.

Doesn't hurt the opposition when he gets it and get exposed by players with more talent.

He'd be worthwhile for a few teams just to put pressure on spots and force the kids to earn it

Out of curiosity
North have LDU , Sheezel , Wardlaw , Simpkin , Powell in their midfield and probably another 3-4 kids that will step up next year. How does Parfitt get a game at north when he cant get a game in a struggling Cats midfield
