BI is becoming a super star right before our eyes, he’s had to do it tough too, had so many haters on him since being taken at pick 2 in the draft, media people calling him a bust, even Lakers supporters, it was like he was expected to be a plug and play Kevin Durant 2.0

He’s longer the Giannes in hight and wing span IIRC, came into the league skinny as a rake, but he has always shown sighs of having a killer game, to be 6’10/11 and have a sweet shot like that, he’s got the deadly mid range, is improving rapidly from 3 point land, has the ability to really explode ito the rim, can put the ball on the floor to get his own shot, he even has a good play making touch and to top it off it looks like he has a clutch game too, he’s definitely not scared to take shots when they really matter, it was always just going to take him some time to develop and he still isn’t the finished product.

He can play PF SF SG and is also showing he can even run the offence as point forward, with the speed and length he has he should become a very good defender too, going to be so valuable to his team in today style of basketball.

Lakers and Pelicans would both regret not resigning him, Pels particularly as he was obviously a big piece of the AD trade, may be even the biggest piece, they should have signed him up straight away and it would have cost them way less, can see plenty of teams coming for him in free agency now, can definitely see New York making a massive play for him, could even see GSW making a play as a KD replacement.

The Lakers got their man and are sitting top of the west. Their only "regret" would be that Ingram got injured so his trade value was low.

The Pelicans went in eyes open on holding off on extending an injured Ingram. The higher cost for performing due diligence rather than committing to a player who might be forever hampered was the right way to go. Brandon will get a max deal and remain in New Orleans.
