Thanks mate. I think that the HBF is a good fit for him for now too. I'm hoping his damaging kick really becomes a big weapon for us rebounding in the next couple of years.

With Maynard by foot, there is still some degree of inconsistency. But my hopes mirror yours. He can do damage by foot and in probably a back pocket and pushing up onto a back flank. With his physicality and at times damaging kick. He can be a good piece for us.

Was weak as piss under the high ball today and handed bontempelli a simple chest mark and goal at a crucial time in the 3rd.

Whenever the pressure is high I'm not sure Maynard has the ability to go with it.

Played well but still has silly turn overs in his game because he is so aggressive by foot, that last one sealed the game. Prefer him in the side than out and hope he continues to take the game on. He will develop into a really good player in time, eye see what Bucks' sees.

Goes in hard, his first quarter today was close to BOG for us. Give him time, he has some mongrel about him, which we're lacking atm. I like him.

Maynard had a 66% disposal efficiency and 6 clangers (the highest out of anyone on the field)

Sometimes you have to wonder whether people actually watch the game

Ox was good last week, that's why I didn't. But if it makes any difference I don't think he is up to it either. Doesn't seem suited to any position.

DE stat isn't worth as much as people like to think. At least Maynard has a crack at moving it forward, unlike half of our list that settles for the easy kick backwards. Maynard was fine for the first half, then like the rest of the squad got fatigued.

Maynard has a crack but his kicking is highly overrated on this forum.

Regularly turns the ball over even when they're easy options to hit. I don't love safe ball users, but turning the ball over in the defensive 50 is a coach killer

So did Taylor Adams, but he improved tenfold with time. So will Maynard. He needs more game time, and it's not we're making finals this year so we may as well use it as another developmental year and give him more games so he can adapt to the speed of the AFL. He will be great for us.
