Brayden played for Port Melbourne in the VFL in 2006.
He played only 11 senior games, injured mid year to then comeback in the reserves for a month (3 games). In his 11 games, was only in the best 2 times, which is disappointing form I guess. Didn't kick a goal all year as well.

The injury was unfortunate, but he should have 'burned' the first 11 games if he had the fire in his belly & the ability to make it.

Please, enlighten me and show me where this is in the rules.
I have the right to make any allegations against a person I please, thats freedom of speech. Its up to the readers of the forum if they choose to believe that or not. My post is no different to those who claim "so and so player was caught drunk and disorderly" or that for example Tarrant was made to leave the club becauses of his personal activites.
My post provided a reasonable, an to an extent verifiable (as verifiable as an other rumor on this board, I have an eyewitness,therefore making it more verifiable then a lot of other trash thrown around here ), explain as to what happened to a certain footballers career. Just because it involves drugs it is therefore worth of being removed? So now any post that contains a rumor about a player smoking for example should be deleted? Both drugs...Both surround the players personal activities...Both unverifiable allegations, unless the accuser takes photographic evidence or something along those lines.
Fact is this is an open forum, a large amount of posts and threads are based on speculation and rough details, that doesn't mean it can't be said.

I'm responsible for what I post, I have the right to make whatever allegations I want, if Brayden hears about it and wants to take legal action then thats my problem not that of the moderators. In my eyes everything i posted was truthful, if you chose to disagree then let that be, other people within this forum may choose to disagree and they also have the right to read and inturn make their own decisions relating to the situation. You don't have the right to make that decision for them.

Mate, there has to be some degree of moderation in this respect, and certain allegations based on heresay have to go.
You could claim you heard "Player X" was a kiddie fiddler from a mate, and it is therefore verifiable and should be left on the board. That's altogether unreasonable.
Please understand that what we put in here actually has more clout than you might imagine. Outside of journos and others threatening legal action, I have had a PM from the mother of one of our senior listed players asking for a post to be removed. That's pretty heavy! Google anything about footy, and say a slightly abstract player's name, and you'll probably be confronted with a BF link on the first page (which is how his mother found the offending thread).
I appreciate that what you are saying may have truth in it, it's just burning it into cyberspace is dangerous where it is an unconfirmed rumour.
You will note that even within the newspaper the other day when mentioning a "brauny football player in a hooded sweater" leaving a brothel, that they did not name names. It's because they can't and because they should not be able to. And that does not contravine your right to "free speech". It's just common sense!

No such thing as free speech , laws for defamation,slander and libel take care of that , as they should.
