He didn't get injured. He's been sidelined for a calf issue for three weeks, but played on Monday night. The issue is that he told the club he was just a spectator.
Why do players keep lying to the club at Collingwood? Bit of a trend here with Sier and De Goey and apparently Stephenson only reported because another player told him to.

I like Phil Inn over Sier. He has a remarkable way of getting over injuries at key moments. And he isn’t after the limelight. Probably not captain material, granted, but every team could do with one or two. Phil for mine.

I finally get why the pies have great facilities and huge numbers of support staff. they're basically running a juvenile delinquent centre. a posh one compared to those poor state funded joints. 3 staff for every 1 player and still they can't keep those bogans out of trouble.
