Adds a point of difference. He releases players through an evaluation of advantage as opposed to quick release for the sake of it. Very valuable!

His skills by hands are incredible. And his ability to give off releasing handballs is second in our side only to Pendles.

The next step in his game is when he gets the ball 60m-75m away from goal, to take half a second longer to weigh up the advantageous space for the forward rather than automatically bombing it in straight away. Not that I'm ever going to complain about a midfielder kicking a long ball to the goal square like Sier does so well!

His tackling was also a highlight today.

I like how he often cuts out the crap alot of the others get caught into, when he has space his first instinct is moving it forward and deep entries when inside our half. Handalls with intent , rather than hot potatoes it to take off responsibility.

His touches are often meaningful ones.
