My God, played s handful of games in his first year, got injured, hardly had any footy in his last year of jnr footy and KJs like TG are bagging him??? Seriously get a FN life!
It will not be the end of the world. We can be patient. It would be good if he has an injury free year and builds into his season in the VFL. Playing seniors is not a requirement, just a solid season in VFL where he shows good solid development.
Thanks for that. Certainly looks like a well developed physique in my opinion. I've always associated the rockabilly haircut with the sort of pathological knucklemen of the late 60s and early 70s who made other teams wonder - I hope he develops into one (because I think the Pies could do with a bit of 'presence').
You're entitled to your opinion mate, but I'll respectfully disagree and consider comparisons to Pearce and Morton to be disrespectful.
Not sure where the Dangerfield comparisons came from around draft time, but I'd disagree with those too (and would have at the time). He's a solid old-school rover who has (or had!) some elite breakaway pace. Definite AFL-standard inside / outside centre bounce midfielder.
Three years outside of the system with an injury that takes away his key trait of pace though, means that he's up against it no matter what his future role.
Given it's an opinion shared within the club that's cool!
FWIW its another further stretch to label a guy that got 50% of his ball through handball receives at U18 level a definite AFL standard inside anything!
I think we can all be thankful though that he is now St Kilda's problem and that Aish was the sweet reward for his move

I don't actually know which part you're confused by? Hapoy to clarify, but he spent plenty of time in full training so to be polite operating within AFL structure and adapting to ball movement wasn't a strong suit in that time.
Despite that there was a circle jerk the likes of which will never be seen again on this board over him during the 2015 pre-season. The moral is a guy in a professional sporting environment for 12 months should have a good rig as a minimum so it means little.
FWIW St Kilda will get him right the problem is they'll soon realise they paid a hefty price for a state league quality footbalker!
Typo. Dictionary off and I type too quickly for my own good so I've become king of the ninja edit and missed that one, but its apt all the same given his willingness to win his own ball...
I had the same query when I read about 'the VFL showings' and the 'inside ball magnet' description, because Sier just doesn't have the stats to back up these claims. But you beat me to the question.
