I actually think him and Goldy are decent forwards. Can Preuss go forward ?
A McEvoy/Mumford hybrid type ruck I guess is the best way to describe him. He has a way to go yet.I only remember him tearing us a new one early on in the season and kneeing Jackson Thurlow in the back

Goldstein has kicked five before, definitely capable. Pruess is a better contested mark.I actually think him and Goldy are decent forwards.
Kennedy doesn't offer North much more than what we have in terms of developing mid/forwards and Smith is the icing, not the answer to north's midfield woes. I wouldn't be keen on dealing with gws on this matter. What about Kennedy from GWS plus a 3rd rounder?
Devon Smith?
(I thought there was already a thread on Preuss, but if there is, I can't find it)
SEN this morning suggested that North have decided to stick by Goldstein and back him in to recapture his best form, and would be prepared to entertain offers for Preuss. The two main suitors listed were the Bulldogs and Brisbane, possibly depending on whichever of the two clubs Stefan Martin is at in 2018.
What would he be worth to either team, and would North be making the right call in backing Goldstein/Daw over Preuss?
Surely North paying 400k of Goldys salary is no big deal.
Bulldogs fans - Goldstein for pick 26 (Dogs pay 400k and North pay 400k)
Yes or no?
Win for Kangaroos if that happens.Preuss for Stringer would be a win-win for both Clubs. If we get involved in the Stringer chase.
Either Sydney team would be a good fit.Do you mean GWS?
Giants would grab him pretty quick I reckon.

no we dont, we have Frampton and Ladhams developing fine. Westhoff, Dixon, Howard can all play ruck if need be.Port need another ruck to support Ryder and may even consider their 1st which is 11 or 12.
Can Preuss play forward effectively?
Top 10 pick. Big men take time, unless you're preuss and you are already man-handling rucks like mumford with ease. What would Pruess be worth trade wise? More interested to hear from other club supporters
I have heard a couple of no substance whispers about 'bris being interested' given circumstances. And it makes sense with the background info. What would Pruess be worth trade wise? More interested to hear from other club supporters
He is a ruckman. Can't see the logic, Goldy won't be there for your next tilt and Majak is not going to be taking no1 ruck mantle...
He is a ruckman.
Most teams dont have a good ruck.
Rucks are not all that hard to find.
If your rebuilding.. and someone gives you a good pick. Sometimes its worth considering.
Maj on peanuts....Braydon Preuss - 206cm 107 kg - 22 years old - Contracted till end of 2018
Majak Daw - 195cm 97kg - 26 years old - Contracted till end of 2019
Todd Goldstein - 201cm 103kg - 29 years old - Contracted till end of 2019
With North Melbourne rebuilding their list why keep Goldstein who has 3-4 years of football left at best versus Preuss who has 10+ years of footy potentially.
Too bad no one will take Daw off their hands, how he is contracted till 2019 is astounding.
Thats true. But good rucks are hard to find.
