I got this to work last night on an older version after stuffing around for ages but have no idea what I did.

IVE DONE IT!!!

The problem of what me and you were doing is that we were trying to open the java file in winzip or winrar. All you got to do is on your desktop will be the FFGenie-0.4, right click and click extract files.

Then go in that and the java thing will actualy open!!! And then go file and click the Round 4 scores

So we end up with FF Genie 0.31? I thought people were talking about a 0.4 version?

Still can't figure out this program. I got it last night after stuffing around for ages but have no idea what I did and now realise that it was an older version. Surely it can't be hard for someone to write down step by step instructions. Pretty please...

Step 1- go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffgenie -> download ff genie
Step 2- Download both FFGenie-0.4-src.zip and FFGenie-0.4.zip files from the FFGenie-0.4 directory, noting where they are saved on your pc.
Step 3- Unzip both by double clicking on them, then put the src folder into the ffGenie directory. (Don't know if this is necessary, but can't hurt)
Step 4- Download the .xls file into your FFGenie Directory
Step 5- Open FFGenie.bat
Step 6- Click File-> open and select the rd4 .xls

That should work. When you right click in the matrix, you should have the option to "add column"-> "if score".

I did ask for step by step instructions. I've only owned a computer for 5 days. To top it all off after all the frustration I went through today trying to open the bloody thing I ended up with what I already had - version 0.31. An earlier post lend me to believe there was a 0.4

Ooops, did I really do that? User Teams only exists in 0.4 so that's a way you can tell what version you have.
