I thought it was brilliant, hard man to please.
Snippets of it were great (they're not so tough now comment obviously stands out), but if you break it down

Tom Hafey anything the man says is legendary so including that would have been something even a high school kid would have done. Absolute must but anyone with half a brain would have included that part
Most of the images if not all of the supporters anguish was from the last 10 years. Don't know about you but I suffered for nearly 40
A corny song in the background
Having to listen to one of the worst sporting commentators in history
The rest was highlights from the game which I see every time I close my eyes
No save our skins. I mean the club almost folded..............
The anguish of not only not winning a flag but for so long but finishing f****** ninth so many times to not only miss out on a finals campaign but cop so much s*** from the rest of the football community

Apart from Tommy Hafey and Richo it didn't really get me

It was good to watch, but last year's one on the Dogs was better. I thought this one missed the genuine Tiger narrative — the ninth finishing, coach-sacking laughing stock that we had become. It was just disappointment v success, which basically reproduced the Dogs. Still enjoyed it though.
Spot on

The biggest question, for me, that resulted from the film was how did that female Adelaide supporter get a seat in a Richmond members bay?

The member who scalped their ticket needs to be hung, drawn and quartered prior to the flag raising.

But I suppose the brightside (pardon pun) is a Tiger made a stack at the misfortune of a Crows supporter, and the Tiges won!

I think the rare behind the scenes footage was terrific , but as you say it lacked in a few areas. The behind the scene stuff did give me an insight on how close the group are and the leadership growth within the group. It's not the two or three anymore and this showed throughout the finals. We've built up a belief a bit like the great era that Hafey set up, but we need to put it on record now.

I didn't think it was that good. Didn't think he captured any where near the emotion the supporters have felt over the last 35 years. Those who were there round 22 1990 with as much passion as gf day 2017. Buying memberships every year. Through save our skins. Through thick and thin.

I agree, was pretty disappointed with it. I think the afl launch ad 'don't believe in never' with richmond was a better piece of film and much better storytelling. This just seemed like a highlights reel put to music, a few new shots. Why didn't he interview Dimma again? I don't get the interview from 2014.... It just seemed out of place.

Pretty much sums up how I felt too. some great little snippets, but to my mind these sort of films should convey the depth of emotion of the subject and be able to tell the story to some one who doesn't follow the sport at all. The AFL could learn a hell of a lot from the NFL Films features on Superbowl teams and players from years gone by. My GF who only has a mild passing interest in the NFL really enjoys the storytelling from some of these films

Give it a couple of weeks :p

Love the close up video's of the game. Something the AFL could do a little better i reckon or if they have more footage make it public.
Would love the DVD to come with more viewing options - clearly the camera on the coaches box roles full time, same with the bench. Would love a multi screen of the different areas to capture different moments- plus an aerial view too would be great, the tv only focuses on the ball really.

The Super Bowl films are brilliantly done. Never seen a bad one. A bit like the ESPN 30 for 30s.
