Has anyone else seen the vid of Dimma sitting down by himself with a projector playing. Was good but can't seem to find it.

The club has really nailed the post GF media releases, nothing too gushy or over the top, just good behind the scenes insightful stuff

It was good to watch, but last year's one on the Dogs was better. I thought this one missed the genuine Tiger narrative — the ninth finishing, coach-sacking laughing stock that we had become. It was just disappointment v success, which basically reproduced the Dogs. Still enjoyed it though.

Just watched the dogs one, think ours is better.

Better background music for one, dogs was much more about the vision, our one had the vision with dimmas voice, the commentators... it was just more emotional.

I don't believe Dimma's line about us not giving any thought to the Crows power stance. As we quickly turned our backs and were really overt in our gestures.

I agree he’s not going to come out and say we thought it was a joke. You’ve just got to see how the players laughed it off

I think Dimma went to great lengths to try not to create controversy and give the Crows any free motivation. He's tried to portray us in as humble a light as possible.

Yeah. That and Brando just nodding and smiling as if to say “yeah go on, bring it campaigners!” I made a video of the stance to send in the clowns months ago but ****ed if i know how to post it!!

Call me crazy but I went to the game, I’ve watched it many times, read the book etc but still it hadn’t sunk in, but for some reason an 11 minute clip hit me between the eyes and it felt real. Like I’ve just now realized what actually happened.

Kind of feel the same. All the reminiscing helps bring back all the feelings from the day.

On the day I was pretty much a wreck throughout. Nervous because I had been waiting so long for the moment and then when it finally happened I was elated, but when I left the ground I was kind of numb.
These types of videos always do me in though.

FWIW I'm another who thinks it was Caddy. Doesn't really matter though, it was an epic comment thankfully captured and we are still reigning premiers going into 2018. Suck it hard opposition campaigners, up the Tiges!

Funny story about that doco as well. When I was younger, maybe 7-8 years ago, I used to play pub poker down at Club Ringwood and I played against the guy at the 1.40 mark of the video. Rough looking bloke with the mullet.

Definitely don't remember anything like that happening before.

It's always that 'steely resolve' look that they speak about

The result aside, it's one of the things im most proud of. Just how they really enjoyed the whole experience as much as we did

I think the contrast was the biggest overriding factor in the result. They say it’s played between the ears mostly and I think we won the game there and then.
It’s for this reason I think Adelaide are a massive chance this season. You can’t not learn from that experience.

Agree. Unfortunately you might be right there about the Crows. I reckon GWS also must be hardened by those prelim losses.

GWS are the real worry for me. I know the crows got Gibbs in but Lever is a bloody good player and Cameron was just starting to hit his straps. Not sure their list is better than last years especially with smith being out for the year.

Giants are kidding if they don’t win it. I’m expecting them to be brutal for the next 3-4 years.
