Well that can only be in a final. I’ve completely changed. I cannot see how we can’t play finals. Should win against Gold Coast and Essendon and then we only need one win in 5 games which includes Melbourne and hawthorn.

The draw was 2015, we beat them in 2016. We seem to play them once every year. We might play them twice this year if they’re good enough.

I was looking at the Home/Away and unless I'm mistaken, we've already played 6 "Away" games, with a 7th coming against Gold Coast this week, and Geelong is also flagged as an Away game in the fixture.

So that should be 8 "Away" games out of the 17 game season ... kinda makes you think they're going to send us to Perth (probably around our bye) as a 9th "Away" game, with the rest of our games hopefully at the Gabba.

We still have to play Brisbane from memory, that should be our last away game

I would imagine wc and freo will play most of the season there and then maybe their last 2 or 3 putside wa given the wa quarantine restrictions. As we only have to play wc of the wa teams i doubt we will be headed west, and may well be the last team we play.

this didnt deserve its own thread so i will somewhat hijack this one as it sorta is a bit of a hoodoo thing ...
looking at our recent history we have been really very good at uncovering very important players to our teams fortunes via trade but it got me thinkig about player who have gone the other way out of our club to new teams, we know currently Bruce is badly out of form, Acres was dropped last week , Jack Steven isnt playing and talking to my Carlton supporting friends they cant understand how Newnes is getting a game ...
it does make me wonder if Jack Steven (who was easily our best player through the Richo era) was really as good as we thought he was or was it just he was the best of a pretty medeocre group ? was Bruce really all that dominant or was it just he was the only option ?
i mean looking at it right now would either player be able to force out their replacment in the team ?
