I'm pretty happy with where we're at.

Sure, a win would be nice and it can come at any time. Especially if we can get a few players back on the park.

The pure fact that we have been sold a process takes away a lot of the associated angst with losing.

We've got the base of a pretty decent midfield developing already and we'll only add to it in the coming off seasons.

Bolts is in a pretty awkward position but he's handling it very well. Not only is he building integrity in the group, he has to sell the slow burn and expected growth through the media.

You either see what's going on and trust it or you don't. Realistically, we are not looking great for this year. I thought we'd be better but I blame myself for getting ahead of things and not looking at it objectively.

We'll be fine. I tell all my fellow West Aussie mates that the Blues will win a flag before the Eagles do and I believe it.

We're not building an 'almost' list, we are piecing together a formidable unit.

It takes time.

I'm sticking fat.

Yet if I dont post after a singular win I am branded an enemy.... despite posting after other wins earlier in the year, and losses.... You know... Balance.

You make zero sense.
I've just gone back and read all the posts since your initial post. All I see is good debate and questioining (maybe strongly at times) of your comments. Nothing personal or derogatory.

Maybe you are just not happy because the reaction to your posts was mostly against and by so many?

If it's your opinion and you believe in it that's good, no issue, but don't complain becauase people don't agree.

PS Some actual facts are always nice :thumbsu:

Your passive aggressiveness isn't as subtle as you might think.

If you seriously go back and read the subthread with Arrow you'll see he needlessly attacked me and I bit back with those facts you keep reminding me about... I didn't post after 14 of the losses either. Derp.

Eh, I'm done. This board clearly isn't for me and that's fine.

Every poster is entitled to express their opinion - that is what forums are about.

I apologise if it was seen that way as it certainly wasn't meant like that. However, even then I don't see it as a big deal. Some people are stronger in their opinions than others. It's also how you take it. IMO as long as it's not personal or derogatory it's okay

I read Arr0ws posts and it was nothing like you suggest IMO. No one was "needlessly attacked"

Personally, I believe you raised an opinion that most people disagreed with and simply didn't like it.

Maybe he is upset about some of the lines of questioning rather than the idea of being questioned?

I find some of it odd myself, I am still struggling to understand what relevance there is to anything in whether he posted in a particular autopsy thread or not.

Is someone less of a supporter for not being a prolific poster? Are their opinions of less value than others? I don't think so.

I too would be a little upset by that line of questioning.

Maybe but there are certain posters that come on when we are struggling or have had a bad loss and seem to enjoy sticking the knives in

Unfortunately it seems that the original discussion always seems to get lost.

However, in this situation I believe the poster has reacted more to the amount and speed of opposition to his/her oriiginal post and as such complained which doesn't help. JMO

Not at all and perhaps I was a tad harsh, but surely you can understand the frustration when some only engage in negative comments, then cry foul when people don't agree.

Oh, I understand that completely and I see it so often in the autopsy threads after a loss. A lot of posters are only active when we lose, that annoys me too.

Revel without a cause.

What’s more alarming is the absolute waves of trolls and negative posters we get inundated with in every autopsy thread. I used to post the Telstra tracker stats amongst others in every autopsy thread. Cbf anymore because of the trolling negative agendas of some who call for certain players to be dropped with 35 posts over 6 pages even when that player has had a good game and that poster has had that politely explained to them. It is not the positive work of Soapy, or the attempts of Jimmae and arrow to provide balanced opinions that is causing this forum harm.

Disagreeing is fine, but you're needlessly being antagonistic with terms like:
...
Blind faith is fine, it's just a sport after all. Being intolerant of those that don't though and throwing childish retorts is unnecessary and making the board intolerable for many I would presume, at least it is for me.
Careful or you're be called out for heresy. Torquemada hears from the grave.
