The Brennan inconsistency thing isn't really true. I've watched him play a lot and while at the start of his career it definately was true, for the last 3 or so seasons he's pretty consistent and I think a quality player.

how about we focus on the finals in september and worry about trade week in october. theres all type of speculations going around that rarely come true. its a way of the media getting a story and putting in the papers to people something worth reading. but i'm all up for drummond

not rischitelli but brennan would be nice..having both him and waite in a team would be very handy. thorntan in the deal would be too good to be true.

that makes sense,because they could be swapped from end to end depending on who we were playing. rischitelli will stay up north because his girlfriend is from the gold coast.

Alistair Lynch gave away a big hint at the beginning of Sydney v Brisbane on the weekend. Gold Coast have Rischitelli sewn up, making Brennan fair ball - Gold Coast will need to trade to get him as well.

It's understood North Melbourne, Carlton, Essendon and the Gold Coast are chasing Rischitelli, while the Blues, Bombers and the Suns are after Brennan.

What are everyones thoughts of recruiting Brennan, I highly doubt he would come to the Blues as I think GC would throw everything at him. Would love to have him at Visy Park, would be a perfect swingman at both ends, plenty of salary cap room.

I'm not sold on Brennan either, but if he did come to Carlton, he would be our CHB. He is 195 & 96. Being settled in one position might help him too.
